Chapter 363 - Chapter 363: Obito Clone VS Killer Bee

Chapter 363: Obito Clone VS Killer Bee

That afternoon.

In the eastern snowfields of the Land of Lightning, white snowflakes fell from the sky. Deep within the forest, Killer Bee—who had left Kumogakure—arrived at this spot to train with his rap mentor.

Five hundred meters away, atop a tall tree—

Obito's clone emerged from Kamui space. Beside him, Black Zetsu's Venus flytrap-like form rose from the branches.

"Obito… huh?" Black Zetsu suddenly looked shocked. "When did you get your left eye back?"

Obito's clone no longer wore a mask revealing only one Sharingan. Now, he had two—and both were Kamui Sharingan belonging to Obito.

The chakra signatures were unmistakable. One was the eye Obito had left with Kakashi.

Hadn't this guy once said he wanted that eye to remain with Kakashi as a lifelong curse?

Why had he quietly taken it back—and without Black Zetsu even knowing?

Obito's clone replied flatly, "I decided I should protect what's mine. Entrusting it to others only leads to despair."

So that's what it was.

Obito must've recalled how he had entrusted Rin to Kakashi, only for Rin to die by Kakashi's hand. That's why he believed his eye belonged with him.

Black Zetsu thought as much, but a deep sense of unease lingered in his chest. He gave Obito a long, probing look but said nothing.

As long as Nagato used Rinne Rebirth to revive Madara, everything would be fine.

A few other mishaps didn't matter.

Still… he'd need to watch this guy more closely from now on.

Black Zetsu took mental note.

Thud!

Obito's clone jumped down and began walking toward Killer Bee's location. Over his shoulder, he said to Black Zetsu, "Keep an eye on the surroundings. If Kumogakure's reinforcements show up, let me know. I'll finish off the Eight-Tails Jinchūriki immediately."

Before that, though, he wanted to have a little fun.

After watching Sasuke's brief fight with Killer Bee, Li Yao's Obito clone was itching to enjoy some close combat.

Ever since he had developed all kinds of powerful techniques—especially genjutsu—most of his battles had turned into technique duels. It had been ages since he'd felt the thrill of blades clashing.

This time, he wanted to fight to his heart's content.

"Got it."

Black Zetsu replied and sank into the ground to scout the area—but he kept most of his attention on Obito.

Obito's clone steadily approached Killer Bee.

Before long—

The sound of his footsteps drew the attention of a massive raccoon-like summon beast, two stories tall.

These massive chakra beasts had keen senses, especially hearing. Obito's clone hadn't hidden his presence at all—so he was naturally detected.

"What is it, Fat Tai?"

Standing on the hilt of a large blade embedded in a tree, Teacher Kin turned his head, frowning.

A man in a black cloak with red clouds and a swirling mask was approaching. In his hand were two of Killer Bee's swords.

"Bee, who's that?"

"Why does he have your swords?" Teacher Kin asked.

"He's with Akatsuki," Killer Bee replied.

"So that's it. He must be the one who captured Yugito." Teacher Kin's eyes flashed coldly. "Looks like he's after you, Bee. Be careful."

"I know." Killer Bee nodded, then frowned at the swords in Obito's clone's hand. "Baka yarō, kuruyarō… You were there during my fight with those kids, weren't you? Sneaky bastard—baka yarō, kuruyarō."

He had lost a few blades during that battle and hadn't retrieved them. Now it turned out this guy had collected them. He must've been watching silently the whole time. How underhanded.

"Not a bad flow."

Obito's clone smiled as he reached the space between Killer Bee and the raccoon summon. He stood casually, fully exposing his back to the beast.

"Come, entertain me."

He curled a finger at Killer Bee and smiled.

"Another arrogant guy. I'll finish you quick—baka yarō, kuruyarō." Killer Bee drew his two blades and pointed them at Obito's clone. His eyes were serious. Despite the man's carefree attitude, he was being cautious.

Because—he saw those eyes.

Sharingan.

Not long ago, that Uchiha brat's Sharingan had unleashed black flames that left quite an impression. That fire was no joke—once it touched something, it was nearly impossible to extinguish.

Boom!

Before either could make a move, the raccoon saw an opening in Obito's stance and leapt at him, slamming a massive paw downward.

"Tsk. Pets should learn their place."

Murmuring to himself, Obito's clone dodged effortlessly and countered with a sidekick to the raccoon's belly.

In that instant—

A wave of fearsome force exploded.

The raccoon's stomach caved inward, and the entire beast was launched backward.

Crash! Boom!

It flew through two trees before slamming into the snow. Blood sprayed from its mouth as it fell unconscious.

"Fat Tai!!"

Teacher Kin screamed and rushed over.

Whoosh!

A pencil wrapped in Lightning Chakra came flying at high speed.

Killer Bee had attacked. And he wasn't stopping.

As the pencil flew, he charged forward, dual blades crackling with Lightning Chakra.

"Nice!"

Obito's clone spun and swatted the electrified pencil aside with one blade, then dashed toward Killer Bee.

"What?!"

Killer Bee was stunned his pencil was deflected so easily. Then he noticed Obito's blades were also infused with Lightning Chakra.

Just like that Uchiha kid… this guy had excellent Lightning affinity too.

"A formidable opponent."

With just two brief exchanges, Killer Bee had already assessed the situation. Even without using any Mangekyō abilities, this man was far above those kids.

He'd need to go all out.

Clang!

Whoosh!

Killer Bee slashed horizontally with his right blade, leveraging his momentum. His left hand stayed behind his back—at the last second, it lunged forward, releasing a surge of Lightning Chakra. The blade extended by ten centimeters in an unexpected thrust.

A surprise attack like that could wound even experienced fighters who weren't ready.

But Obito's clone—Li Yao—was far too fast. His sensory perception was unmatched.

He had already sensed the Lightning Chakra gathering in Killer Bee's left hand.

Obito's clone was ready.

As Killer Bee's left blade shot out, he twisted aside. His right-hand sword countered in a sweeping arc—targeting Bee's neck.

His blade, too, surged with Lightning Chakra, its edge extending further than Killer Bee's strike.

Slice!

Blood sprayed across the snow, red against white.

Thump thump thump!

Killer Bee backflipped several times to gain distance from Obito's clone.
