Natalia was about to tell the story, when someone knocked.
"Okay, what's the attraction to my room today?" Valentina queried.
"I'll get it." Natalia volunteered, and hurried over to the door.
She opened the door and saw Gia standing outside.
"Hey, is Valentina in? I need to talk to her," she said.
"Okay– I guess you can come on in."
Natalia stepped aside, and Gia walked into the room.
"You're Gia, right?" Valentina asked sweetly as she drew closer to the meeting spot.
"Yes, I am. And without wasting your time, I want to apologise to you."
"For?" Her forehead wrinkled.
Gia cleared her throat, mustering more courage and less ego.
"So, I was kind of a bitch when I heard you were back. But it was mostly driven by jealousy because I thought Salvatore has feelings for you."
"Salva has feelings for Val?" Aurora gasped.
"Did you know Salvatore has feelings for you?" Natalia's mouth hung loosely open.
Both of them spoke at the exact same time.
