Luciano finished up his tasks for the afternoon, and went straight to Valentina's room.
He knocked once, then waited for a response.
After a couple seconds, Rebecca opened the door and found him standing outside.
"Carpo!" Her heart jumped.
"I stopped by to take the twins out for a stroll. I'm guessing Valentina is still out?"
"SìCarpo. But I can quickly prepare the twins for outdoor activities. Would I be joining you?"
"No, I think I can handle them myself. Can I dress them up too? I've never really been able to do that for them."
Rebecca's shoulders tensed instantly. Her thoughts scrambled in search of an excuse to stop him from coming in.
"Rebecca? Is everything okay over there?" Aurora's voice filled the air before she could come up with anything.
She saw first hand Luciano's eyes turn icy, and in a blink, he was pushing the door wide open, and walking in.
Aurora, who was feeding Arthur, froze when she saw him.
