The studio was bigger than expected.
Soorin had worked enough production days to know that television sets always photographed smaller than reality, but walking into the broadcast stage at six-fifty AM with her kit over one shoulder still made her stop for half a second.
The ceiling was high. The audience section curved wide. The set design for the show was minimal and intentional, two buzzer stations, a performance stage, lighting rigs that hadn't been brought to full yet but would be.
She got her bearings and kept moving.
Both groups had separate arrival windows to prevent lobby moments that would look engineered on camera. The green rooms were on the same corridor. Everyone on both sides already knew this and had decided, collectively, not to make it a thing.
She set up in LUMEN's green room by seven AM. Good lighting. Checked her inventory twice. Got the chair angle right.
Then she waited.
