Back then, before the season started:
Adam: But, this season starts earlier now?
Greg: You are right. Maybe there is a new CEO?

Greg and Adam are at where they were when Adam first saw the advertisement for the newest season of BWCG. Suddenly, the bell rings.
Adam: Who is it?
Greg: Let me check, I think I know, it would be time already.
Greg walks toward the front door and opens it. A familiar face is on the other side.
Greg: Oli, come in.
Adam: WHO?! OLI!
Oli: Hey
Greg: Is it your genius side being active right now?
Oli: I have seen it as this is best for all of us until I'm here.
Greg: Hah, got it. Now seriously, go in and get comfortable.
They are all in the room now, Greg, Adam and obviously, Oli as well.
Greg: So my plan worked out just fine, good to hear.
Adam: Really!? Is that why Oli is here?
Greg: The fact that he is here alone proves it.
Oli: Yeah, that's right.
Adam: That means you can finally explain it in detail to me then?
Oli: Wait, Greg, you didn't tell him already.
Greg: Of course not, I like to mess with him when it's unnecessary.
Adam: ... Classic.
Greg: Both of you, you both should lean back, it's explanation time!
Let's start with the rock paper scissors game I had with Adam before it all even started.
Adam: You started planning that time already?
Greg: Well, not really. What I wanted is to just convince you to also join, since in the show usually no one has anyone they can really trust in as an ally. I was looking for anything that increases my chances to win.
Oli: Adam didn't want to join first? Well, I had a feeling sometimes that he actually didn't want to be there, this makes sense now then.
Greg: I won that game, then also the first game inside the BWCG, there is nothing much behind it. However, the second game is different. I started at a very big disadvantage, I found a way out and planned to win alone the 2 points that can be gained on that game, but then I got a phone call after the rounds of a day from Adam. I missed him before that, I had never seen him before in the hotel, but he was also a participant, the perfectionist, Todor. This changed my plan, I thought that letting Bandeer gain 2 points as well might make me a good teammate later on.
Then Action Game. I got to play with Oli and with Todor for the first time. We all won that game, this game was useful due to me being able to get to know more about Oli. Now, before getting into the Joker's gambit, to know what happens and why, we need to know how the games change as the season progresses.
Point system: In the games in this system, depending on your placement of the games you have played, you gain points, if you don't have enough points, then you get eliminated. Losing once doesn't mean you are eliminated from the entire show.
Fade: This is one singular game connecting the two systems together. This game comes when there are about 30 remaining players left. In every season, exactly 3 player groups play in a match. In this game, one third of the players gets eliminated, one from every match to be exact. The players in one match never should have the same amount of points as before, since in this game, the more points you have the more advantage you should have over the others.
Instant elimination system: After the Fade game. If you lose in any of these games, you are instantly eliminated. This is true through all the remaining games.
Greg: This is crucial, because it's a really important part of my plan. When the Joker's Gambit game started, I already had my full plan in my head. All I needed to do was to execute it. Let me start with a fact I already told you about the Fade game. The ones playing against each other never have the same amount of points. I already planned for the Point Poker game, I didn't know it would be that game we will be playing exactly, but it didn't matter. So back to Joker's Gambit. When the match started, I already knew that I wanted to be eliminated in the Fade Game. You will soon find out why, it will make sense. I wanted the three of us to be in the same Fade match.
Adam: So that's why you let Oli gain a point over you?
Greg: Wanted to make sure Oli won't be eliminated by letting him have more points than me.
Points Before JG:
-Greg: 4 point
-Oli: 4 points
-Todor: 4 points
All of us had the maximum we could possibly do.
Points After JG:
-Greg: 4 points
-Oli: 5 points
-Todor: 5 points
Greg: Only 1 game away from the game I wanna be eliminated in. I wanted to tell the CEO something.
Adam: The CEO? Why? And how?
Greg: The CEO so far in this show made us play games against specific people. I mean they were obviously made to have the most viewers.
Adam: Yeah, I got that as well, it's not too complex, more viewers, more money, of course that's why he makes games to specifically gain as many viewers as possible, to gain as much money as possible.
Greg: You are wrong! That's not the actual reason!
