Chapter 313 - Second Stage Of Flying Thunder God Training

"Sensei, how many did I dodge this time?"

Naruto wiped the sweat from his face with his sleeve, looking at Shinji with a curious expression. He felt like he must have dodged at least eighty percent of the kunais.

Shinji nodded with satisfaction. "Not bad, you dodged forty percent."

At first, Naruto only managed to dodge less than a third.

"Huh? That little?" Naruto opened his mouth, a bit disappointed.

But as he looked down, he saw that his clothes were already ripped in many places.

So that's how it is!

Naruto looked up at Shinji, a questioning look on his face.

Shinji said with a smile, "Indeed, some you dodged, but you were still a bit slow."

The cuts on his clothes were factored in by Shinji. If they were going to train, it had to be with utmost precision.

Wouldn't that be better?

"Alright, take a break first. We'll switch to other training later." Shinji reached out and patted Naruto's head, a smile on his face.

But he paused for a moment, this kid had grown quite a bit too.

Naruto thoroughly enjoyed the warmth on his head, and as for Shinji telling him not to train today, he had no problem with it. Whatever his teacher said must be right.

"Alright, go on now." Shinji said, giving Naruto a push.

Sasuke and the others had already turned their attention to Naruto the moment he stopped. After all, Naruto looked quite miserable at the moment.

"Naruto, are you alright?" Hinata was the first to run over, looking at Naruto with a worried expression.

Karin, who was about to step forward, paused and turned to look at Ino.

"Hehe, aren't you curious?" Ino had a motherly expression.

"Could it be?" Karin first froze, then covered her mouth in disbelief.

"It's exactly what you're thinking." Ino raised an eyebrow.

"Hehe."

Hinata checked Naruto's injuries thoroughly, and only after seeing that they had all scabbed over did she breathe a sigh of relief.

"Loser, what new jutsu are you practicing?"

Sasuke was Sasuke. Instead of worrying like Hinata, he was more concerned about what Naruto was practicing.

After all, after so many years, who wouldn't know how abnormal Naruto's recovery ability was?

"That's right."

Naruto rubbed the tip of his nose, an arrogant expression on his face.

"So what jutsu is it?" Sasuke asked again, helplessly.

"I don't know." Naruto spread his hands, he truly didn't know. He only knew that his dad said he absolutely had to learn it.

Sasuke was so annoyed by Naruto's demeanor that he rolled his eyes.

"Idiot."

Seeing that Naruto was fine, and not wanting to linger, Sasuke simply said, "Idiot," and walked away.

Naruto, meanwhile, pouted. After so many years, he had a good understanding of Sasuke's sharp tongue.

That guy, even when he cared, didn't know how to say something nice.

"Naruto, put on your clothes first." Hinata ran to the side and pulled out the clothes Naruto had brought.

Over the past few years of training, they had gotten used to sometimes getting dirty all over, so they always brought spares.

"Hehe, thanks, Hinata." Naruto casually took the clothes and started changing.

Four days passed like this.

Naruto dodged a kunai coming towards him with a sidestep, then sensed a slight difference behind him. He spun again.

Thud—

The kunai hitting the ground made a crisp sound. Naruto was momentarily stunned, then looked delighted.

"Not bad, Naruto." Shinji, who was beside him, nodded and waved for the Shadow Clone to stop.

In four days, even with only two hours of training each day, Naruto had made rapid progress. Perhaps this was Naruto's own talent, his instinct.

"You've dodged about seventy percent of the kunai. Now we can move on to the next step of training."

Dodging kunai was the first step Minato had arranged, and the second step...

Naruto had already informed Shinji about it earlier.

That was for Naruto to attack Shinji, and Shinji would need to dodge with the smallest possible movements each time. Furthermore, Naruto's Shadow Clones would observe Shinji's movements from multiple angles.

When the training ended, all the clones' experience would return to the main body, greatly accelerating Naruto's adaptation process.

As for why it wasn't Sasuke?

The two were too familiar with each other's speeds. Unless Sasuke's strength suddenly increased significantly, it would be useless for Naruto's training.

Actually, the best method would be for Minato himself to do it, as this training was for Flying Thunder God. Being able to observe Flying Thunder God up close would actually be more beneficial for Naruto.

It's just that Shinji was also helpless. He couldn't learn Flying Thunder God, and to put it bluntly, even if he didn't activate his Chakra Mode, relying purely on his movement speed, he could already match the Fourth Raikage using Lightning Release Chakra Mode. This speed was sufficient for Naruto.

"Yes, sensei." Naruto nodded, then raised his hand to form a hand sign.

Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu!

Twenty-odd Naruto clones scattered the moment they appeared, and after reaching their designated positions, they looked towards Shinji and Naruto.

"Alright, Naruto, attack me with all your might." Shinji said, then stood still.

"Yes."

Naruto responded, then stomped his foot and quickly rushed towards Shinji.

Shinji, with a single step, instantly appeared behind Naruto. Seeing this, Naruto was just about to counterattack when Shinji lightly tapped his back.

"Your mind can keep up, but your body's instinct is still a bit slow."

The kunai-dodging training was very useful. But that was all it was. After all, Naruto should have reacted just now, but his body was still a step too slow.

"Sensei, again!"

Naruto twisted his neck. He didn't want to disappoint his sensei and dad.

Although he didn't know what kind of jutsu he was training for, his dad's serious expression, combined with Shinji-sensei's solemnity...

Naruto was unwilling to disappoint the two people he cared about most, no matter what.

He'd do what he said!

"Very good, keep it up." Shinji nodded with a smile, this was Naruto's shining quality.

As the sun gradually set, Naruto continued to attack Shinji without stopping.

And Shinji's speed became greater and greater. At this moment, he was almost using a speed comparable to the Body Flicker Technique. However, this was still far from enough.

Shinji said, "Naruto, omit the process of my movement. Your eyes should directly see my target. Your actions will then follow to that spot. You need to get your body used to the feeling of acting immediately after the target is reached."
