Chapter Start

Atos died in the most humiliating way imaginable.

One moment, he was crouched in his room, surrounded by glowing monitors, an open bag of chips, three unfinished energy drinks, and a pile of manga volumes he had sworn he would organize "tomorrow." The next, the universe decided that the laws of absurdity were more sacred than the laws of physics. A freak accident involving a collapsing shelf, a tangled power cable, a spinning chair, and a poorly timed leap to catch a falling figurine launched him straight into the ceiling fan.

The fan lost.

Atos did not die gracefully. He died with a squeak, a shattered phone screen, and a final thought that was somehow both tragic and deeply otaku: I never finished that arc.

Then came silence.

Or rather, the kind of silence that only exists before reality itself remembers that it has unfinished paperwork.

Atos opened his eyes in a vast white expanse, standing before a throne so immense it seemed to contain the concept of authority rather than merely represent it. On that throne sat the one true God, who looked less like a bearded old man and more like the absolute center of every law, story, and destiny ever written.

God stared at Atos for a long moment.

Atos stared back.

Then God spoke.

"Your death was… bewildering."

Atos rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah. I was kind of hoping for cool or heroic. I think I got 'idiot.'"

For the first time in eternity, the divine expression shifted into something like stunned disbelief.

"Indeed," God said. "I have witnessed countless deaths. Warriors, kings, monsters, fools. But you…" He paused. "You were struck by your own circumstances, your own possessions, and your own bad timing in a way so grotesquely inefficient that even I was astonished."

Atos blinked. "That sounds like an accomplishment."

"It is," God said gravely. "Which is why I shall reincarnate you."

Atos straightened. "With cheat powers?"

"With three super-intelligent wishes."

Atos's eyes lit up with the sacred glow known only to men who had read too many reincarnation stories.

God raised one hand, and the air filled with infinite writing, living equations, and sealed worlds. "Choose wisely. Your wishes will shape not only your power, but the structure of your journey."

Atos did not hesitate.

First Wish: The God of Information"I wish to acquire Raphael's skill from Tensura," Atos said, "if it evolved into a skill from the Gods Chain instead of Manas."

The throne room trembled.

God's gaze sharpened. "You are asking for a divine analytical authority. Name it."

Atos grinned. "God of Information, Shuguran."

The words rang through existence, and the wish unfolded like a cosmic manuscript.

Information flooded him.

Not knowledge as a simple library, but knowledge as a living structure. Patterns, laws, connections, names, causes, effects, possibilities, hidden truths, and secret structures all gathered into a single perfect intelligence. Atos felt his mind expand without pain, then expand again, and again, until his thoughts became a horizon with no edge.

Shuguran awakened.

"Infinite Thinking" activated first, splitting his consciousness into countless branches. One Atos observed the room. Another analyzed divine pressure. Another calculated the probability of his next wish. Another simply admired the absurd elegance of being omniscient-adjacent on day one.

Then came "Eye of God," and reality tore open in layers. God's divine body was not hidden to him, but understood. Names, principles, intent, and hidden dimensions appeared around everything like glowing script.

Then came "Akasha Records," and with it the understanding that the multiverse was not a place, but a tapestry of every event, every species, every era, every thought, every magic system, every dream ever dreamed.

Atos felt his breath catch.

This was not power.

This was authority over meaning.

"Construction" flowed next, allowing him to assemble, separate, and alter anything. Matter, energy, structure, identity, spells, concepts — all of it became tools in his hands.

"Law Control" settled in after that, and the laws of the world bent politely before him. Gravity, inertia, heat, probability, magical formulas, scientific constants, even the exchange rules of skills and abilities — all could now be touched, adjusted, rewritten.

Finally, "Divine Sense" bloomed across existence. He could perceive all worlds, all times, and the surface and depths of every mind within reach.

God gave a single nod.

"That wish was dangerously precise."

Atos smirked. "I did my research."

The divine throne room somehow felt a little smaller.

Second Wish: Dimensional Traveler"I wish to have the ability to travel between all-encompassing worlds and multiverses, whether real or imaginary."

The second wish wrapped itself around him like a key forged from infinity.

"Dimensional Traveler," God declared, granting the name of the ability as the laws of space, time, and storylines folded into obedient channels.

Atos felt portals become as natural as breathing.

He could step into any world, any layer, any timeline. Fictional worlds, "real" worlds, hidden worlds, half-written worlds, worlds that should not exist yet somehow did. A pocket dimension opened inside him, vast and infinite, ready to store anything he wished.

He tested it instinctively.

A tiny white cube appeared in his hand.

He placed it into the spatial pocket.

It vanished.

He reached for it again and pulled it out from nowhere.

Atos laughed. "That's ridiculous."

God replied, "You have no idea."

Third Wish: Rewriting"I wish to have the ability to rewrite from the anime Rewrite."

God's expression became more solemn this time.

"The ability to rewrite any aspect of your existence to permanently strengthen or improve yourself using your lifetime."

Atos nodded. "Yes. But I know the warning."

God did not deny it.

The power settled into his soul like a blade that could carve destiny at the cost of time. It was not merely self-improvement; it was self-authorship. He could revise his body, soul, instincts, and potential, paying for change with the currency of his lifespan. The stronger the transformation, the greater the cost.

Atos accepted it anyway.

Because every otaku knew one truth better than any sage:

Power always has a price. The only question is whether the price is worth the scene.

God regarded him for a long, silent moment.

Then the divine being spoke with a gravity that made creation itself listen.

"Go, Atos. Fulfill your dreams. But understand this: the worlds you visit will not remain unchanged. You will not be a spectator. You will be a force."

Atos bowed once, grinning like a man who had been handed the keys to every impossible door.

"Perfect."

Arrival in the First WorldThe first world chosen by fate, desire, or divine amusement was the world of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Atos arrived beneath a sky brushed with pale gold light, standing on a quiet hillside that overlooked forests, roads, and distant villages. The air smelled of grass, wood smoke, and something older — an ancient magic that had soaked into the land for ages. He could feel it immediately through Shuguran, every ley line, every mana current, every hidden creature stirring beyond sight.

"This world is lively," he muttered.

His clothes had changed into a simple traveler's outfit, practical but stylish enough to avoid looking like he had fallen out of a divine wardrobe accident. A short cloak rested at his shoulders. A belt held his small stores. The rest he could summon or rewrite as needed.

He opened Divine Sense.

A thousand impressions arrived at once.

Knights patrolled roads. Demons slept in the distance. Holy power radiated from sanctified sites. Human emotions flickered like candles in a storm — fear, hunger, desire, ambition, hope. And somewhere, very far away, the fate-lines of legendary figures were converging toward each other like blades.

Atos exhaled slowly.

"This is going to be fun."

He started walking toward the nearest village.

First ContactBy the time he reached the village road, trouble had already arrived ahead of him in the form of shouting, splintering wood, and a great deal of panic.

A group of rough men were intimidating a merchant cart at the roadside. The merchant was on his knees, begging. Two villagers were trying to keep their courage. A frightened child clutched a basket and stared wide-eyed at the armed thugs.

Atos stopped.

Then he tilted his head.

"Classic opener," he said to himself.

One thug noticed him. "Oi. Mind your business."

Atos looked at the man with calm interest, as if evaluating a defective tool. Shuguran instantly identified the thug's strength, posture, emotional state, and battle habits.

Weak.

Predictable.

Overconfident.

Terrified underneath.

Atos smiled.

"Actually," he said, "I think it's my business now."

The thug sneered and reached for his weapon.

Atos lifted one hand.

"Law Control."

The air changed.

The thug's sword did not move. His body froze for a single instant as gravity decided to become a very personal lesson. He slammed face-first into the dirt with a sound that was half thud, half humiliation. The other men stumbled back in alarm.

Atos stepped forward, boots crunching softly on the road.

"Here's how this works," he said pleasantly. "You leave. You forget you saw me. And you stop preying on people weaker than you."

The leader snarled. "Who do you think you are?"

Atos glanced at the sky, then back at him.

"Someone who really dislikes bad timing."

He snapped his fingers.

A clean, sharp slap echoed through the road as one thug's cheek turned red and his pride turned to ash. The others flinched so hard it nearly counted as a tactical retreat.

Atos did not press further. He did not need to. Their fear was already doing the work. They scrambled away in a mess of threats, curses, and rapidly diminishing courage.

The merchant stared at him like he had just seen a myth walk out of a tavern story.

The child, however, laughed.

Atos smiled at the child and crouched slightly. "You okay?"

The child nodded quickly.

"Good."

The merchant bowed repeatedly. "Thank you, traveler. Truly, thank you."

Atos waved it off. "Just pay it forward."

When he stood again, he felt a faint pull in the world, like destiny had noticed him.

Interesting.

That meant the plot was already moving.

The World NoticesAs he continued along the road, Atos tested his limits.

He analyzed the air, the soil, the life around him. Shuguran generated layers of information in seconds, mapping the local magical ecology and the likely trajectory of significant events. He could already tell this world was stitched together by dramatic coincidences, heroic encounters, and the kind of chaotic destiny that loved dragging people into taverns, battles, and impossible miracles.

He also sensed something else.

Several notable souls.

One was loud, warm, and impossible to ignore — a flame of willpower with raw, simple persistence.

Another was sharp, deliberate, and ancient in a way that spoke of elegant violence.

Another carried holy authority like a blade in the dark.

Atos smiled.

So the cast was already near.

"Good," he said. "I like interesting people."

He raised a hand and opened a thin dimensional seam, invisible to ordinary eyes. In it he stored some supplies he had created through Construction: clean clothes, coins, a small tent, a warm blanket, and a bottle of cold lemonade.

He took the lemonade out, opened it, and drank.

The sweet, cold taste hit him.

Atos nearly cried with happiness.

"Ah," he whispered. "Truly, this is the life."

Then, somewhere in the distance, the world cracked with the first hint of a major encounter.

Atos looked up.

His eyes gleamed with anticipation, intelligence, and exactly the kind of dangerous excitement that only an otaku given infinite power could possess.

"Let the adventure begin."

And with that, Atos walked toward the heart of the Seven Deadly Sins world, where legends waited to be rewritten, enemies waited to be humbled, and the first steps of his impossible harem-filled destiny had finally begun.
