"We need Fina!" Kami whispered.
Jayden laughed bitterly. "Are you insane? To do what? Finish what she started?"
"I can get through to her, if you just give me the chance." Kami pressed.
Tears rolled down Jayden's face as he fell to his knees somewhere in the mountains, having been chased away by the Water Clan.
He dropped Draco's cold body before him and pressed his hands together with Draco's.
"Just stop it, Kami. Even if you managed to pull her out of her bitter past, we'd still be searching for a magician who can raise the dead."
"You're right," Kami spat bitterly, "but we can't stop trying until the very end."
Jayden began shivering once more, cold seeping into his skin, eyes shut tight. He was right at the edge of surrendering to his emotions when a peaceful aura closed in.
"Help!" The voice came from behind.
