Inside the mayor's office, Anpeng Suwanapu was joking with the newly hired young female secretary.
Just as he was about to invite the secretary out for dinner to talk about life, the office door suddenly was knocked.
The interruption displeased Mayor Anpeng.
So he didn't let the person knocking come in immediately but continued to joke with the secretary.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The knocking outside grew louder.
"Come in!"
Anpeng Suwanapu shouted with anger in his eyes.
As his voice fell, the door was pushed open.
A dark-skinned man in his early thirties rushed in, panic-stricken.
"What's the matter?"
"I told you not to disturb me, didn't I?"
Anpeng Suwanapu rebuked coldly.
"Ma... Mayor, something big has happened!"
The dark-skinned man stammered with trembling voice.
"What big thing happened?"
Anpeng Suwanapu asked quizzically, touching his meticulously groomed beard.
"A man-eating monster has appeared at the foot of Hongzhai Mountain!"
