Sienna Thornton scoffed: "Heh, men." She snuggled into the quilt, turning her back to Simon Forrester, ignoring him.
Simon noticed something was wrong, quickly getting into the quilt with her, hugging her soft body in the warm cocoon, slightly propping himself up, whispering near her ear: "Why are you upset? I wasn't even talking about you just now."
"From the moment your mom recognized a godson, I smelled the rotten scent of your ingrained male chauvinism, so I need some quiet."
Simon laughed, lowered his head, and kissed her cheek: "We've been together for so many years, and you just realized today that I'm a male chauvinist? So, all those times I was jealous, you really thought I was just being jealous?"
Sienna turned back to look at him: "You weren't jealous; were you drinking soy sauce instead? Thirsty?"
Simon burst into laughter, laying back in his spot, with one hand behind his head, the other holding her in his arms.
