"Nothing much, just heard some noise here and came to check what's going on."
Summer Lowell said, glancing up at the car in the distance. Seeing Maxim Sinclair still staring at her, her face turned stern, and she turned towards the pavilion in the garden.
Summer walked briskly, not noticing the complex and indescribable look Maxim gave her from behind.
For the entire afternoon that followed, Maxim did not come to disturb her.
Summer rare enjoyed a quiet afternoon.
Until evening when the sky began to darken. The butler looked at Maxim, who had not come out of the study upstairs, then at Summer, who was in the garden pavilion reluctant to enter the house, sighed deeply, called a maid to bring Maxim down for dinner, and went to the garden to find Summer himself.
