Summer Lowell struggled in vain, slightly turning her body, and looked at Maxim Sinclair with a blank expression: "Where do you want to take me?"
"Back to our home, the place we used to live."
"Don't take advantage of my amnesia to fabricate things that never happened." Summer's phone in her pocket suddenly rang. Just as she was about to reach for it, Maxim swiftly snatched it away: "It's so late, let me see who's contacting you."
He picked it up and saw Justin Huxley's name brightly displayed on the screen.
Maxim sneered, wrapped an arm around Summer's arm with one hand, and answered the call with the other, placing it to his left ear: "Hello?"
On the other end, Justin Huxley doubted himself and checked his phone screen again. After confirming he didn't dial the wrong number, he incredulously asked, "Maxim Sinclair?"
