Summer Lowell looked at the large and luxurious bathroom, and asked unconsciously, "How did you know I liked this place?"
"You used to stay here for a long time, only coming out after I noticed and called you," Maxim Sinclair said, his eyes darkening. "Go in and feel it out, maybe it'll help you remember something."
Summer glanced at Maxim, who was reluctant to leave, and raised her hand to close the door.
She reached out to turn on the faucet, testing the water temperature from a distance, her eyes dazed as she watched the steam, lost in thought.
Outside, Maxim was drinking a cup of tea. Hearing the sound of water, he looked up at the bathroom, seeing the faint silhouette through the frosted glass.
Maxim stared like that, unwilling to move his gaze away for a long time.
Great, you're finally back.
The next morning, Summer woke up startled from a dream, and Maxim, who was sitting beside her reading, looked down at her: "Did you have a nightmare?"
