As soon as Summer Lowell finished speaking, she heard the door of the study not far away open. She and the butler looked over together.
"Summer," Maxim Sinclair stood at the door and called her, "come here, I have something to tell you."
Summer didn't want to go over. She took a few steps toward the stairs, "I'll go downstairs for a glass of water. I'll come find you after I finish drinking."
"Come over now, Uncle Owen, go pour the Young Madam some water," Maxim said, leaving no room for argument, pulling Summer by the arm and leading her into the study, "I tried talking to you nicely, and you didn't listen, so I have to personally invite you, huh?"
Summer shrugged indifferently and followed him into the room.
Once inside, she immediately shook off Maxim's hand, putting distance between them, "What do you want to talk about? Just say it."
Maxim crossed his arms and looked at Summer with an amused expression, "When did you regain your memory?"
