"Can you stop being so annoying?" Summer Lowell turned over, pushing Maxim Sinclair away. "I told you, I'm not interested in the Huxley Family's affairs."
"You have to listen, I need you to know what your dear mentor has been up to," Maxim Sinclair gripped her hand, pulling her into his embrace. "Tina Huxley is having a tough time right now. Justin Huxley is making quite a name for himself in front of Old Master Huxley. If things keep going this way, Justin will be the heir to the Omni Group next year."
"Are you blaming me?" Summer stopped struggling, eyeing Maxim with a strange tone. "It's a pity, but it's already happened. Blaming me won't help. If you're really angry, you can send me to the police station."
"Why would I do that," Maxim gently caressed Summer's cheek with extreme tenderness. "I spent so much effort nursing you back to health from that frail state. I can't bear to see you suffer in a police station."
