"Sighing?" Maxim Sinclair slowly chewed on the words. Vivian Sullivan sighed toward Summer Lowell, which meant that Summer had said something while alone with her yesterday.
The one who got drunk was Summer, clearly. Summer revealed some heartfelt words to Vivian Sullivan, which explained Vivian's expression when she sent her off in the car.
The bodyguard saw him fall into silence, hesitated for a moment, then asked, "Did we not protect Madam well yesterday?"
"No, you did well," Maxim Sinclair smiled. "I trust your abilities. I was just asking offhand. Don't mention this to Madam. You can go and rest. Just remember to keep an eye on her the next time she goes out."
"Okay."
The bodyguard responded and turned to leave.
From a high vantage point, Maxim Sinclair watched Summer Lowell, who seemed to be laughing, and his sharp eyebrows slowly furrowed into a knot. "What are you really up to in your heart?"
