Maxim Sinclair nodded with a smile in his eyes and raised two fingers, promising not to say anything more.
Summer held it for a while longer, but eventually let go, gave a cold hum, slapped away the hand on her waist, and angrily sat on the other side.
Seeing this, Maxim repeatedly apologized, then leaned in: "Baby, just came back and already mad? Look at the dark circles under your eyes, getting mad is not good for your health."
"I'm not mad," Summer flatly denied, her eyes focused on the window. No matter what Maxim said beside her, she didn't turn back.
With no other option, Maxim resorted to his final trick, raising his hand to tickle her.
Summer initially kept a straight face and refused to surrender, but after a while, she couldn't help but giggle.
