Just after finishing dinner in the evening, Li Xiang's phone chimed. He knew this sound very well; it was the system's notification.
Since the last system update, Li Xiang hadn't been able to access the system, which had worried him somewhat, wondering if the system was about to shut down.
He wasn't too afraid of the system shutting down since he'd basically learned all the skills he needed, enough to last him a lifetime.
What worried him the most was that if the system disappeared, it might take away the skills he'd learned, returning him to his original state instantly.

Feeling a surge of joy, Li Xiang stood up to run to his study.
