"You… teach kids?"
There was still a naked, questioning sort of surprise in Su Huan's eyes.
"What sane family would let you teach their kids?"
The Boss pointed around the workshop with his thick fingers, a proud look on his face. "That one, that one, and that one over there, all of them are my students. Every day when we take a break from work I teach them a bit. Of course, it's nothing big, just whatever I read in books, I share with them."
The two of them stepped into the little partition where the Boss made guns.
The smile faded from the Boss's face and he sighed. "They've got no fathers and no mothers, nowhere to go after work. Better to follow me and learn some characters than hang around with those drunks, bragging and bullshitting. If they're a bit older and want to walk this path, I'll send them to Professor Ma. That's a hell of a lot better than hacking and killing in the Corps."
"Are there many kids in the workshop?"
