The greenish-black bricks exuded a chilling cold, as the sound of gongs and drums approached from the end of the ancient town, with a radiant red-clad procession.
Besides the wedding procession, the groom's relatives accompanied them, regardless of age or gender, their faces were blank, yet they performed various actions, whispering conversations, and children chasing and playing. As they walked halfway, the twelve pairs beating gongs and drums at the front began to sing the wedding songs again.
The melody was like a mountain stream deep in the mountains, meandering and long, yet paired with the faceless figures, it seemed even more eerie.
