With that thought, Qin Yun suddenly felt a lot more justified, her gaze burning as she stared at Pei Yan.
When he finished writing the invitations, Pei Yan rubbed his slightly sore arm, walked over to Qin Yun without making a fuss, and quietly reminded her, "Your drool's about to come out."
Qin Yun instinctively reached up to wipe, but there was nothing there.
Pei Yan looked at her with a half-smile. "If you keep staring at me like that, I might not be able to focus on eating here."
Qin Yun looked up, confused. "Why?"
"Because I feel like you need me more right now."
Pei Yan's thumb slid along the side of Qin Yun's face, paused at the corner of her mouth, then he sighed, "Don't look at me like that anymore."
Qin Yun blinked, then broke into a smile. "Okay."
Qin Yun shifted her gaze away and looked to the side.
But Pei Yan was dissatisfied. He hooked a finger under her chin and turned her face back, then planted a hard kiss on her forehead. "What are you pretending for."
