The last sentence seemed to be mentioned casually, but Maya Monroe picked up on a different meaning from it.
Maya lowered her gaze, hesitating, "So... Did Ian help me secure this audition opportunity? Did he make some investments?"
Yvonne Hall seemed slightly surprised, "Hasn't Mr. Rowe told you?" She laughed again, "It seems Mr. Rowe wanted to give you a surprise, and I was too rash. He's always finding ways to help you achieve your wishes; the relationship between you two is indeed enviable."
Maya didn't respond for a moment, her eyes flickering with uncertainty.
