Seeing Monica so agitated, Tristan Rowe still kept his smiling demeanor: "Don't be angry, Mrs. Monroe."
"It's been so long since we've seen each other, surely we won't meet as adversaries right away?"
Jasper Monroe and Monica both appeared with complex expressions.
Suddenly, there was some noise from the stairs, followed by a girl's obedient voice: "Mommy, I'm a bit thirsty."
At the sudden sight of Kiki, Monica's expression changed: "Kiki... why are you down here? Didn't I tell you to stay upstairs and read the script properly?"
Kiki looked innocent: "I felt a bit stuffy upstairs, and there's no hot water left."
Monica was momentarily at a loss for words; she clearly instructed Kiki not to come down, why was the usually obedient child suddenly acting so rebellious?
Kiki seemed to just notice Tristan Rowe, and was surprised: "Is this the guest who came to visit?"
Kiki concealed her thoughts; she knew her trip here wasn't in vain.
