Maya Monroe pulled out the check-up slip from the day before yesterday, fortunately, she had brought it back easily.
"Here, take a look. This check-up slip is something I definitely can't fake."
Ian Rowe carefully looked through it, not missing a single detail on it.
After a while, he seemed to breathe a sigh of relief: "Just rest well at home these next couple of days, let Aunty Wang know if you need anything, and she'll take care of it all for you."
Maya's eyes lit up: "Does that mean I can have hot pot and roast duck?"
Ian paused, and when his gaze met her eager and expectant eyes, he couldn't refuse.

"You'll still need to eat balanced meals though."
Maya's eyebrows curved up, and she urged him: "How long do you plan to stay all wet like this? Husband, you better hurry and take a hot shower, so you don't catch a cold."
"I don't have anything to take care of. I'll go once you've finished the ginger tea."
