Thea Lynch had heard Sean Bell say similar things many times before.
Hearing it again now, she felt no waves in her heart, even felt like laughing.

The man leaned on the railing, squinting as he looked at her back and said with a strangely serious tone, "Thea Lynch, sometimes I'm just as conflicted as you are, hoping that everything you say is true."
