In the evening, Thea Lynch was woken up by the noise from downstairs.
She opened her eyes, and her room came into view. Staring at the window opposite for a while, she finally remembered how she got back in Ian Preston's car.
She fell asleep on the way, and as for how she got back to her room afterward, she had no memory.
After quickly changing clothes, Thea went downstairs.
In the living room, several elders were sitting together, playing chess and chatting, looking more energetic than she, a young person.
"Thea is up."
"Just in time, it's almost dinner."
The dinner wasn't as lavish as lunch, mainly because it was just a few families in the yard, not many people.
It was basically a small family gathering.
Thea rolled up her sleeves and wanted to help in the kitchen, but her aunt chased her out, "No need for you. What's a kid doing in here making a mess? Go, go, go, play outside."
Thea had no choice but to return to the living room to watch the old folks play chess.
