"I know, your laziness has flared up again."
Zhou Yaling rolled her eyes while sipping her juice, too lazy to argue back.
Because what her brother said was true.
Candy's attention wasn't on the two, but rather on the cake.
After eating the cherries off the cake, Candy's eyes squinted with delight.
Out of all the fruits, cherries were the best, only rivaled by the tips of strawberries.
"Brother, why is there still cake?"
"There was a particularly large cake at the event tonight, so I brought some back for you two."
As he spoke, Mo Jingchun, holding a bowl and chopsticks, walked out of the kitchen and joined the hotpot feast.
While eating the cake, Candy curiously asked, "Brother, haven't you already eaten?"
"Oh, don't mention it, I wasn't full."
"Were you just pretending to be reserved?" Zhou Yaling interjected.
"You get me so well. This kind of socializing just isn't for me."
"Hehe, I'm telling you, probably no one at that table got full."
