"Do they like them?" Titus Quinn grinned.
Melody and Leon both felt a thud in their hearts as they dropped their hands; Titus Quinn and Jared's gazes were fixed on them.
On the broken rooftop, there were two lines of men holding guns aimed in their direction.
"One, two, three..." Titus Quinn counted the number of people up there. "There are a total of ten people, positioned in various spots. Do you think they'll die, or will they die?"
The sinister voice made Titus Quinn seem like a completely different person.
"Sister-in-law, did you anticipate we'd be discovered?" Leon looked around warily. In short, he hadn't guessed it.
"No, I thought they wouldn't find us," Melody spoke the truth.
Leon flinched at the corner of his eye, stepping forward to shield Melody. He and Jared were brothers, and naturally, he had to protect his brother's wife. Even if it meant dying, he couldn't let Melody die; that's what he owed his brother.
