Timmy instantly beamed, "How about I don't go back to my room, I'll just stand here for a while. Can you not let my dad go back to his room?"
Jared Quinn's face turned dark as he went upstairs with heavy footsteps, "Timmy, go to your room and sleep, don't come out again, do you hear me?"
"Okay."
Timmy went back to his room, and Melody Thorne immediately hugged Jared Quinn's waist, "You wouldn't be angry about this too, right? I know that Jim Lowell didn't have good intentions, and I only went to that bar because I knew it was Cole O'Connell's. If I didn't know the environment around it, I definitely wouldn't have gone there late at night."
Jared Quinn looked at her incessantly chattering little mouth, understanding what she was thinking. He also knew that she had the ability to protect herself now, but this feeling still left him somewhat displeased.
He liked it when she acted like a little woman, hiding behind him when things went wrong.
