"Weren't those people beaten by Jared's men?" Caleb had also seen today's news but didn't think of Melody Thorne's involvement.
"No," Jared Quinn said.
The villa's hall was quiet for a few seconds, everyone's eyes landed on Melody Thorne, filled with disbelief.

"Well, I'll hang up now," Melody Thorne hung up the phone and met their gazes, "Can I say I don't know what's going on either?"
She was confused too!!
"Grab my arm," Leon Rivers extended an arm to her.

Melody Thorne tightened her grip.

Melody Thorne gasped for breath, releasing her grip, "I've used all my strength!"
