Josh was dumbfounded: "Captain? Weren't you going home? Why are you back?"
Yuze raised an eyebrow fiercely: "I should be asking you that, right? Weren't you going back to Granel City for the New Year? Why are you still at the guild?"
Before Josh could answer, Yuze's gaze had already passed through her to the room behind her.
Everything in the room was neatly put back in place, not packed up at all.
Clearly, the owner had no intention of leaving anytime soon.
Yuze's face darkened: "You weren't planning to spend the New Year here alone, were you?"
Josh, feeling a bit guilty, scratched her nose: "No... I'll go back tomorrow."
"Josh." Yuze's dark eyes stared deeply at her.
After a moment, Josh finally gave in: "Alright, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have lied..."
Feeling a bit embarrassed about her compromise, she added: "The guild didn't say you can't celebrate the New Year here."
