Chapter 186: Beacon [Bonus]
When the girls returned after collecting bundles of firewood, they were stunned.
So stunned, in fact, that the dry logs slipped from their arms, crashing onto the ground with a loud clatter.
"W-what is this?!" Aina exclaimed, staring wide-eyed at the scene before her.
"Did we come to the wrong place?" Mira asked, slowly walking around in a circle and scanning the surroundings for familiar landmarks.
"No… this is definitely the right place," Sylva said slowly, her voice filled with disbelief. "But they really made all of this in such a short amount of time?"
They hadn't even gone for half an hour.
Yet now, standing before them was a fully established campsite. It looked less like a temporary resting spot and more like a small tribal settlement hidden within the forest.
"We don't have to pay rent now, do we…?" Sylva muttered nervously.
The three girls bent down to gather the fallen firewood before cautiously approaching the camp.
