The car slowed. Turned into a wide driveway. Gravel crunching under the tires.
Liam looked up.
A building sat ahead. Three stories. Modern design. Glass panels covering most of the front facade. Clean lines. White concrete. Landscaped grounds with trimmed hedges and young trees planted in perfect rows.
A sign near the entrance read: **Westbrook Medical Center.**
Liam frowned. "Why are we at a hospital?"
Elena pulled into a parking spot near the entrance. Cut the engine. "This hospital is owned by the Sterlings."
Liam looked at the building again. Then back at Elena. "Really? I mean, I can see why they're one of the top families. This place is famous."
"So you know it?" Elena said, smiling slightly.
"They're on TV all the time. Celebrities go there for everything. Top surgeons, cutting-edge treatments. If you're rich and sick, that's where you go."
"I see," Elena said.
