Grace looked at him over her shoulder. "What's wrong?"
"You got any body oil?" Liam asked. "Massage oil. Whatever you have."
Grace pushed herself up slightly on her elbows. "Body oil?" She turned her head to look at him properly. "Why do you need that?"
"It's part of the process."
"Really?"
"Yeah, you really stressed your body out, so I'd need it for a great result." He looked at her evenly. "Without it, the tension comes back in a day. Maybe two. Do you want it coming back in two days, Grace?"
Grace studied him for a moment. Deciding if he was serious. Then she nodded slowly. "No. Give me a minute."
She got up off the floor. Padded toward the hallway.
Daisy lifted her head from the rug, watched Grace disappear around the corner, then got up and trotted after her. Nails clicking on the hardwood floor.
Liam sat back. Looked around the living room. It was tidy. Organized.
A few minutes passed.
Grace came back around the corner, Daisy at her heels.
