Camille lay on the desk with her chest still heaving and looked at him.
"What did you do," she said again. Her voice was still completely gone, scraped of everything that usually lived in it.
'Classic reaction,' Liam thought. He looked up at her from where he was still kneeling. "Didn't know I was too much for you."
Camille's eyes narrowed. "That's not what happened." She pushed herself up onto her elbows, her bob falling in multiple directions. "Whatever you did just caught me off guard. That's all it was."
Liam smiled. Small and slow. "The girl you thought was my girlfriend handled that just fine by the way."
Camille stared at him. "What does that mean."
"Means what it means," Liam said. "You couldn't handle it."
