Her dark hair still loosely pulled back with the same strands falling across her face that she still hadn't bothered to move.
She looked at him.

Before he could finish his statement.
She stepped forward and her hand came up to the side of his face and she kissed him and he didn't have time to process the sequence of events that had led to this specific moment before something started happening to his body that had nothing to do with the kiss.
