""Judgment? How will you judge?""
Poseidon sneered,
"You'll a thousand percent side with your daughter, Athena."
"If you insist on saying that, then there's nothing more to discuss."
Zeus frowned,
"Believe it or not, there were indeed gods among us just now who spoke up for you."
Hearing Zeus's words, Poseidon was silent for a moment, then asked,
"How do you plan to judge?"
Zeus stood up from his seat, and the divine artifact named Thunder reappeared in his hand. He gripped his Thunder and slammed it heavily into the clouds, and the roar of thunder instantly echoed in all directions. Then, Zeus's voice, deep yet powerful, resounded between heaven and earth:
"In the name of Zeus, King of the Gods, at this time, in this place, at this moment, I begin to judge the disputes between the gods and the Heroes in the Poseidonia Kingdom. Now, Poseidon, state your demands to me."
"My demands are simple."
Poseidon said without hesitation,
"Return the faith of the Poseidonia Kingdom to me, and then, I want to kill these people to pay for my son's life!"
"The first demand is acceptable, but the latter is impossible, you know that, Poseidon."
Zeus looked at his brother and said,
"There are also your offspring on the Argo. Do you want your offspring to pay for your son's life too?"
After hearing Zeus's words, a hint of surprise clearly appeared on Poseidon's face. Apparently, due to his excessive promiscuity and having too many sons, he himself didn't even remember that he had a son on the Argo.
The Sea God's gaze fell upon the Argo Heroes, and at this moment, one of the Argo Heroes also gathered his courage, pushed his companions aside, and walked out.
He came to the cliff by the sea, knelt before Poseidon, and then shouted,
"Great Father, I am your son Theseus, do you remember me?"
"Theseus?"
A trace of confusion flashed in Poseidon's eyes. He stared at Theseus and examined him carefully, but he had no impression of this child in his mind. However, he felt a faint trace of divine blood from Theseus. This trace of divine blood was quite weak, almost indistinguishable as to whose it was, but judging from Poseidon's past actions, since this person truly had divine blood and claimed to be his child, it was most likely true.
Of course, Theseus was not actually Poseidon's child. His mother was Aethra, daughter of King Pittheus of Troezen, and his father was Aegeus, the current King of Athens. However, Aegeus was currently stripped of his power by his brother and dared not let his brother know that he had secretly left behind offspring outside. So, when Aegeus and Aethra parted, Aegeus instructed Aethra to proclaim Theseus as Poseidon's son.
Troezen was a city protected by the Sea King, and for a divine child to emerge from this city was a matter of pride. Therefore, Theseus grew up smoothly and participated in Jason's expedition. After the expedition, he planned to return to Athens to reclaim what was rightfully his from his uncle.
But Poseidon did not know these things, and Theseus had never revealed them to his friends. The only ones who knew about this, besides The Fates, were probably his parents and himself.
Therefore, after Poseidon sensed the faint divine blood within Theseus, he truly regarded him as a son with "poor talent" and little inheritance of his power.
Although he didn't particularly like him, he was still his own bloodline, so the great Sea God Poseidon beckoned to Theseus and said,
"You can be spared death, but the others must still be buried with your brother Amikos!"
"Impossible!"
As soon as he uttered these words, the radiant and handsome Apollo in the sky immediately stood up and coldly looked at Poseidon:
"Uncle, your son is a son, but are our sons and daughters not sons and daughters? Moreover, this matter was originally instigated by your son Amikos. The people on the Argo have been extremely tolerant of him, and we have all seen it. Now that your son attacked first and was killed by the counterattack of the people on the Argo, you still want them to apologize to your son. Do you really think your status is nobler than all of us gods?"
"Exactly, the demigods on this ship are not just your children alone."
After Apollo took the lead, the rest of the gods gained confidence and followed Apollo, one by one, standing up and opposing Poseidon.
"You see, Poseidon, this matter certainly cannot be done."
Zeus said,
"Because there are not only your people on this Argo. Of course, if you have the idea of challenging the gods of Olympus alone, I can arrange it for you."
Seeing the gods so united, Poseidon's momentum weakened slightly. He took a small step back and said,
"Then, I can spare these people, but! The sorceress who killed my son Amikos, and Perseus, who caused this kingdom's unrest, must die here!"
"Alright, Poseidon, you're making demands that are completely off the mark, it's truly embarrassing."
Just as Poseidon's voice fell, a deep male voice suddenly came from the sky.
Just hearing this voice, the Argo Heroes felt a surge of hot blood boiling within them. They involuntarily gripped their swords, all feeling a bit hot-headed, eager to find someone to fight.
They looked up and saw a tall, handsome, red-haired man in armor, with an attractive face, appear before the ranks of the gods. He held a spear and shield in his hands, and slightly lowered his head, looking at his angry uncle:
"I ask you, Poseidon, in this incident, which god benefited the most among the gods?"
"Ares, it's not your place to tell me what to do..." Poseidon's words were cut short by Ares, who then emphasized his tone again and asked,
"I'll ask again, Poseidon, in this incident, which god benefited the most among the gods?"
Seeing Ares's serious expression, Poseidon reluctantly thought about it, and the more he thought, the more something felt wrong.
The lower-class slaves of the Poseidonia Kingdom ruled by Amikos revolted. With the help of the Argo Heroes, they killed Amikos and usurped the kingdom's throne. But behind all this, the one who fueled it was Perseus, a hero under Athena. Moreover, after Amikos died, the faith of the Poseidonia Kingdom immediately changed to Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom.
What chilled Poseidon's spine even more was that Athena's method seemed familiar. A similar disturbance had occurred in Atlantis, a pearl he once owned in the ocean. It was also the lowest class of people in the city-state who suddenly obtained a large number of weapons and armor from an unknown source, and even divine magic bestowed by a god. They overthrew their appointed rulers, destroyed their temples and statues, and desecrated their faith.
With his mind racing, Poseidon felt he had successfully connected everything.
He roared at the beautiful goddess in armor, who was seated beside Zeus,
"Athena, were you manipulating all of this?!"
