Swen paused for a moment. Her gaze was still locked on Shinju.
"By the way…" she said."Where is Mikail's Spear?"
She raised the orb in her hand."The light says it's still here… but I don't see it anywhere."
Shinju frowned slightly."You mean the spear that pierced my chest… that's what you call Mikail's Spear?"
Swen's eyes narrowed."So… you really are the 'demon' they were talking about."
She took a step closer."If you were struck by that spear… surviving is a miracle."
Shinju straightened his shoulders slightly."I was already on the verge of death. I'm only alive because of Koharu."
Koharu briefly looked away.
Then she spoke quietly:"When I was trying to heal Shinju… the spear was still in his chest. At some point… I lost consciousness."
She swallowed.
"When I woke up… the spear was gone."
Shinju continued, his voice low:"While I was unconscious…""…it felt like the spear… melted and fused with my body."
Swen's eyes widened instantly.
"What—""You absorbed Mikail's Spear too?!"
Her breath caught."You… you're a monster."
Shinju turned his head slightly."That wasn't something I controlled."
Then, calmly:"Forget it. You wouldn't believe me even if I explained."
Swen took a step back.Still in shock.
She muttered to herself:"So that's why… you absorbed the Yang Pills so quickly…"
Her eyes lifted to him.
"…it was because of Mikail's Spear."
A brief pause.
"…Is that even possible?" she whispered."Can Mikail's Spear… be absorbed?"
She raised her head again. This time, her voice was firm.
"Listen. Mikail's Spear is not something simple.""If you've absorbed it… at least understand what you've taken in."
Her voice grew heavier.
"Mikail's Spear is made from one of the most valuable substances in the universe—Elysium."
She paused.
"And what you absorbed…"
"…is not just a material."
"…it is the heart of an entire planet."
Shinju and Koharu both spoke at once, shocked:
"The heart of… a planet?"
Swen nodded.
"Yes. Exactly that."
"Every planet that sustains life has Elysium at its core.""That substance is the direct source of Yang energy."
"Elysium is what allows a planet's atmosphere to form… and remain stable.""The density of Yang is directly tied to the amount of Elysium."
Swen's eyes darkened.
"The Lord of Darkness…""…ripped the hearts out of the planets he drained."
"In other words… he took their Elysium."
A brief pause.
"Then he refined it…""…to turn other planets into Yang farms."
"And forged them into spears that continuously harvest Yang energy."
The atmosphere grew heavy.
Swen's voice dropped to a near whisper:
"When Elysium is removed from a planet…""its atmosphere collapses.""its balance is destroyed."
"And that planet…"
"…will never sustain life again."
Koharu's face turned pale.
"So… Mikail's Spear is actually—"
Swen cut her off.
"Yes."
Her eyes were cold.
"A planet's gravestone."
