Things are intensifying within the Cube, as heroes, villains, and Forsaken are clashing across the Cube, right now Rhino who managed to go deeper into this literal frozen and ice maze, groans in frustration...as he walks down to another path of ice, the rectangular path filled with frost, snow, and the occasional icicle on the ceiling, and ice spikes on the floor, was starting to irritate the Russian criminal, he growls as he smashes a power-armor covered fist on to the left wall, cracking the frozen surface, as he said to himself in Russian accent, "Damn it. I'm getting tire of this ice cube, everywhere I go is more damn ice!! I can't believe I'm listening to that woman...Skull I can manage but..." as suddenly Rhino felt some shaking coming from around him.
As he turned to behind him, he was meet by a massive metallic clawed hand rushing to his head, before he can react, that said claw, smashed him against the ice-wall, groaning in slight pain, he realized who just attacked him, it that freak monster that killed Electro...or better said, Electro killed himself out of power hunger...regardless, Rhino right now was once again face to face with Golem.
Golem panted angrily, as he add more force and pressure on his grip, pushing and breaking into the ice wall further, forcing Rhino reach out his massive hands and grabbed onto the ape-like elongated arm of Golem, but Golem didn't repent, starting to scrap Aleksei's rhino-helmed head, across the ice-wall and passage way.
Each step that Golem stomped, he scrapped Rhino face and shattering the entire way of to the otherside of the passage, then Golem stopped his scrapping of Rhino's head across the way, he grunted, spun around and tossed Aleksei on the other side of the path, Rhino smashed his fist onto the crystallized floor, grunting and grumbling as if he was a real rhinoceros, I saying in a low voice, "I'll make you pay for that." Golem panting responded, "Me no care horned man. Me kill you. Now!!" yelling out in fury like a angry beast.
Rhino snorted resembling a real rhinoceros, standing back up, rushing right at Golem, both behemoths pulled back their respective arm, and throwing a massive, and powerful punch at the other, their clashing fists, causing a massive shockwave from their impact, causing the passage their fighting to crack from the force of their clashing fists.
In another part of the Cube, back in the back and forth between a Infernal Lord, Young Justice, and the Black Archer.
After some exchange, Merlyn rolled out the way from the swarm of arrows, and energy blasts from Red Arrow and Arsenal who took the opportunity to aim at him, instead of the black monster thing with them in this area.
As the two young heroes are firing at Merlyn, who after stopped rolling, he'd got into a kneeling position and aimed his black bow and arrow at the two former protégé of the late Green Arrow, when Cheshire and Arakune are rushing at him, with a low posture and her sai at the ready, and Arakune came rushing towards him...when the black blank-masked ooze, was started to be fired at.
Arakune dodged Arsenal's red blasts, as the young, original protégé of Oliver Queen, bravely charged at Arakune, wielding a pair of black and red sleek blasters at the Infernal Lord, Arakune looked at the young teenage hero, molding and twisting his ooze like body to dodge all the red energy-bolt, speaking at Arsenal, "Infuriating welp!! Fine, you want to be devoured first, I'll oblige to your death." laughing crazily, as several multi-eyeballed centipedes emerged from Arakune's body, swarming forward at Arsenal like twisted limbs, seeking to tear apart the young superhero.
Merlyn was still forced to move, as he can't attack Arsenal and Red Arrow, or Arakune accurately, while defending and fighting off the damn, cat-masked, green wearing kunoichi.
Merlyn, he got off of the floor, turned at Cheshire and fired a black arrow at her, who using unbelievable reflexes, she dodged Merlyn's arrow, leaping at him, she threw a diving kick at Black Arrow, only for Merlyn to block Cheshire's attack, as she kicked off from Merlyn's arms, teasing him, "Here I thought that it would be Darkh, Big Game, Prometheus, or heck even Sampson would try to work for Luthor. Do you have any class, Merlyn?" but Merlyn didn't get fooled by Cheshire's just reaching for a new trick-arrow to use against the former mercenary, and assassin, turned to into a pathetic hero wife, and weakling.
Just as he was about to let a arrow fly, he saw one of Arakune's centipede, came soaring at them, instead of attacking, Merlyn smirked and kept his arrow trained at Cheshire, making her stay focused on him, as Cheshire realized to late that Black Archer wasn't attacking...he was distracting!!
Right at the moment of realization, Jade turned to see the same centipede, that she and the team fought outside the Cube, it sharp legs and pincers already swiping at her, only because of her years of training and physical conditioning, did she barely avoided the multi-eyeballed horrific insect's bite, but instead the centipede's legs swiped and cut through her green robes, and hitting her back.
Hissing quietly in pain, as blood was starting to stain her back, Merlyn struck, preparing two exploding arrows, one for her, the other for the bug, that's when Will rushed in, firing red arrows at the insect, causing several explosions, on the black shell horror of a bug, tearing apart, and saving his wife, Red Arrow slides next to his wife, his bow and arrow ready to shot at Merlyn.
Will told Jade to reach his belt, for some special solve that will ease her pain and stop the bleeding, in a her usual playful, and coy manner, she thanked him.
At that moment Arakune shrieked, yelling in a high-pitch voice, "Enough of this sentimentality!! Just die already!!!" as his body started to sway, twitch, and convulse, several eldritch like insects started to emerge from the lesser Black Beast, as he spoke in a eerie tone, "It's time to die..." as all his minions burst forth aiming to attack Arsenal, Cheshire, Black Archer, and Red Arrow.
In another fight, Captain Cold was surprisingly holding his own against Wonder Girl, Dupli-Kate, Blue Beetle, and Spoiler, that was only since Snart is smart, and ice was his element after all.
He growled, aiming his cold-gun, firing a cold stream at Spoiler, one of the most affected against his attack, Spoiler yelled, "Woah" sliding off the side, leaping off the side of the edge, pulling out her grapple-gun, firing it to a wall saving herself, Kate rushed in with four duplicates beside her, all five of her were quickly running across the ice made platform, at Snart position.
Snart smirked at he said, "Kid how many times have I freeze you, in this fight?", turning his cold-gun and firing bursts of cold energy at the Dupli-Kates, hit one on the legs, freezing and shattering her lower body, another struck in a vulnerable spot in the chest, leaving three Kates to attack.
Right then Blue Beetle and Wonder Girl flew in, providing backup to Kate, as Blue Beetle using the neural link with the scarab, turned his arms into beetle-like blades to fight up close, as Wonder Girl she was eager to get her hands around Snart, as Captain Cold charged up his cold-gun, letting out powering up humm, as he was ready to fire at three young heroes...when a pain striken, loud intense shriek of a glitching radio waves, all of them, even Spoiler who was able to get back on a the platform, was clutching her ears.
As that screeching sound was so intense in one moment, before smooth jazz and vintage music started playing, all around the chambers, the shadow emerged from the walls, becoming shadow demons with eerie green eyes and mouth, holding and playing shadow shaped instruments trumpets, saxophone, piano, double bass, drums, and guitar, playing and singing, "You can't hide!! Your screams like the beat, he come with style and flair!! Ready for the Killer of the Radio, to take the stage!!! You can't hide!! Your screams like the beat, he come with style and flair!! Ready for the Killer of the Radio, to take the stage!!! 🎶 🎵" then tapping was heard, a massive shadow emerged behind the "band" playing music.
This silhouette started talking form, much thinner but still massive and imposing, as a pair of massive crimson eyes and a jagged grinning smile, this shadow reached out and place it outstretched hand, onto the center of the ice platform that Spoiler, Dupli-Kate, Blue Beetle, Capt. Cold, and Wonder Girl, as a tendrils of shadows and green eerie wisp of demonic magic, realized from the massive claw of the shadow, as the jazz band started increasing the beat in a instrumental solo of sax and trumpets, was playing and a deep voice sang and introduced, "Here he is the Radio Demon, Alaaaaaasssstttttoooooorrrrrr!!! 🎶 🎵" as all the shadow demons reverted back to simple shadows, revealing the pinstriped suit wearing, demon with crimson eyes and a big, wide, yellow smile with sharp teeth, his red claws, wrapped around the top of the black, microphone eyed scepter.
Alastor smile and chuckle with the tone of a radio spoken tone, Alastor finally made his big entrance, as he bowed with gentlemanly flair, speaking, "Alastor. The Radio Demon, and thirteenth Infernal Lord, at your service." as he watched the struggling, but recovering people in front of him blue scarab armored fellow, the trio of young lovely Asian women that look exactly the same, a blonde girl in sporty like wear, and a man in blue coat and winter gear, then in a slight glance over his shoulder, he saw the last young lady, in purple and light purple gear and blonde hair as well.
If he remembers in order, Blue Beetle, Dupli-Kate, Wonder Girl, Capt. Cold, and Spoiler, taking a hand off his scepter, with a crimson and green colored eldritch, demonic runes and spinning around a sigil, manifested around his gloved red-clawed hand, as his eyes turn into crimson and showing statics, and occasionally showing a eldritch rune on his eyes, as Alastor used his power over as a shadow claws, emerged from Spoilers own shadow.
As a member of the Bat Family, has recovered from the sonic screech that stunned her, and then she'd heard jazz and singing, as Stephanie was pushing herself off the ground, she felt a piercing pain on the right side of her waits, and the front, she screamed, looking a shadow made claw that pierced her on her waist area, blood seeping through the puncture wound on her body.
Alastor looked at her, as she struggled to get free from the claw, Alastor still smiling at her, he spoke at her, "Sorry dear, but you should join your friends. Please scream I'll make a great broadcast for our audience." with a swipe of his right clawed-hand, the shadow claw swiped her forward, pass him and slamming her in front him.
In a loud crash, Spoiler screamed, as her body impacted hard against the solid ice of the platform, she coughed up blood, staining her face mask, the pain kept Spoiler down, as Blue Beetle fully recovered and saw Stephanie's state, his scarab telling him that Stephanie is in critical condition with puncture wounds, internal as well as external bleeding, and bad fractures, Alastor started humming happily, as he started walking closer to the downed Spoiler.
Clearly seeing the incoming danger, he made the scarab make beetle wings and activate thrusters, so he can blast forward to save Spoiler, his arms transformed from beetle-blades into blasters, firing blue energy blasts at Alastor, Alastor saw the energy blasts came flying at him, and he only stopped walking and with a swipe of his hand, a green eldritch wave of demonic, magical energy, blocking all the energy projectiles that Blue Beetle fired at him.
But Jamie didn't stop firing at as he close the gap, reaching Spoiler, transforming one of he's blasters back into a his normal state, grabbing Spoiler carefully, as she grunted in pain, as Jaime tried to get Spoiler away from this red, dear-shaped hair guy, Blue Beetle blasted away from Alastor.
Alastor chuckled, saying to Blue Beetle, "Ohh my insect chap, do you think I need to get close to hurt you..." as his tone became lower, and menacing at the final part, as crimson and green energies swirl around his hand, before placing his hand on his microphone eyed scepter, now it was swirling with his demonic magic energies, lifting his scepter and slamming the end of the scepter onto the icy floor.
Causing a burst of green eldritch energy, as the platform shattered and a couple of eldritch tentacles emerged from a torn chasm of a demonic rift, wrapped around Wonder Girl, Capt. Cold, Dupli-Kate, and Blue Beetle holding onto Spoiler, as Alastor watched from the still standing was still in tact ice of the previous ice-platform, watching with glee, as his "friend", squeezes and drags his playmates to their painful doom.
When he same something...interesting, Wonder Girl used her super strength to force off her tentacle, Blue Beetle's scarab acted automatically to the defense of it host, sprouting spikes and extra insectoid limbs, piercing the eldritch tentacle, making it roar and letting go of Blue Beetle and he immediately flew away, with a wound Spoiler over his shoulder.
Capt. Cold freezer the lower part of his tentacle, breaking it two part, the upper part lost tension and let him go, as he fell he fire another cold-stream to make himself a platform to stop his fall, and lastly Dupli-Kate, she was the most simple of them all, letting her two copies die, and making another duplicate to appear above the tentacle, letting herself experience three new deaths.
Alastor laughed and started clapping telling them they are very entertaining, impressing him and also not disappointing him, since them surviving mean that they can have more fun, spinning his scepter, making it longer like a staff, he said, "So come up my friend, our performance hasn't ended yet, it fact like call this the first preview, before the first act. Now come and entertain me more." swinging his microphone scepter turned staff, firing a trio of eldritch green fireballs at the heroes and one villain...
