Jugo was busy for several days preparing for this, but finally the time came to begin his plan. In theory, he would be gone for a day, but in reality, only a moment would pass.
Jugo's biggest problem now was how to prevent Hamura from realizing what he was about to do, not the current Hamura, but the ancient one.
If Hamura realized what he had done, it could drastically change the past. Luckily, the moon remained isolated for a thousand years, but just a simple change could lead the Otsutsuki of the moon to attack Earth much sooner. At that point, he would probably mess everything up.
Jugo was also considering another possibility: the old name of the current potion was Cursed Artifact. What would happen if he hid a cursed artifact in the past and transferred its timeline to himself?
Jugo was very tempted to do it, but in the end he gave up, he was already toying with the past too much and the danger of each move increased even more. He needed to figure out how to hide from Hamura.
The fact is that even in his Wraith form, he is completely visible to the old man, in this case, to his soul. Hamura's soul must have remained on the Moon all this time, so he could be seen by Hamura as soon as he arrived in the past.
Jugo thought for a long time before shaking his head, he could only think of one solution, to transform himself into a puppet.
In that case, not even Hamura's gaze could find him, if it were when he transformed into Puppet, he wouldn't even be able to move in that form, but now, his power has increased, he could control himself in that form, but he couldn't use his powers.
But in that case, he wouldn't even be able to activate the amulet's effect!
Jugo felt the urge to find Hamura's soul and beat it to a pulp, because why couldn't that wretch choose a different place to live? Couldn't he go to the Pure Land or keep his brother company there?!
Jugo took a deep breath to calm himself, ideas racing through his head, but to be perfect, no one could see him when he appeared, he had to remain completely invisible so as not to let anyone notice the change and affect the timeline.
Finally, Jugo remembered something and almost wanted to slap himself, he has the Tenseigan from the future!
He was limiting himself, he could use the connection to the Tenseigan of the future to affect the Tenseigan of the past! In other words, he could cast a curse from a distance! In this case, the Curse of Giving!
He didn't even need to go to the moon, he could simply do it from Earth!
As for whether Hamura would notice, perhaps a brief fluctuation in energy would occur, but compared to appearing directly on the moon? That was far more perfect.
It was such a simple solution that he felt foolish for not thinking of it right away, but perhaps the reason was that he was so used to the ninja world that he rarely thought about solving things through mysticism.
Shaking his head, Jugo perked up, at first he had intended to perform the action directly on the moon, but now he didn't need to go so far.
In truth, he didn't know what the world was like a thousand years ago, appearing out of nowhere could be a problem, so he quickly used Mayfly to delve deeper underground. He planned to use the Temporal Connection amulet directly from the depths of the earth, further narrowing the odds.
He went quite deep before finally pulling out the crystalline card-shaped amulet and some of the Tenseigan's chakra.
The next moment, he poured chakra into the card, which began to glow. Jugo seized the moment to recite the incantation in Hermes. - Past.
As soon as he used the enchantment, Jugo saw the river of time, he seemed to see the moments when the Tenseigan was born, when each eye was placed on it. He chose when the giant Tenseigan was already being used as a power source and placed it directly in the space from which he had taken it.
The Tenseigan was much smaller, perhaps two or three times larger than a basketball.
The moment he chose, Jugo's body disappeared, for him, it was only a fraction of a second. The terrain around him didn't change, he was still underground.
Sighing contentedly, he felt his connection to the Tenebrous World still present, everything was still there, so it meant that the Tenebrous World had returned with him to the past, not that he had connected to the Tenebrous World hundreds of years before.
Satisfied, he entered the Tenebrous World without even leaving the ground, he didn't want to risk any change, so he entered space with his entire body.
He looked at the Giant Tenseigan and began to prepare the curse.
Using the connection to the Future Tenseigan, he soon sensed the current Tenseigan, sighing in relief, he picked up the black arm figurine with a spike at the end and pointed it at the giant Tenseigan, before saying in Ancient Hermes - Donate!
The moment he said that, the amulet transformed into black mist and entered the Tenseigan, but it didn't end there. Jugo controlled the mist to pass through the future Tenseigan and continue the connection with the current Tenseigan.
As soon as he felt the connection had been made, he sighed with relief, now he just needed to wait. When he returned to the future, he could finish everything.
The day he spent in the past was completely monotonous for Jugo, because he never left the Tenebrous World.
From beginning to end, he simply waited, slightly nervous about the failure of the entire process, but when the day was over, Jugo felt the amulet ripple.
Opening his eyes while remaining seated on his throne, he went to the Giant Tenseigan.
As soon as he approached, Jugo smiled contentedly.
The enormous black eye had been completely transformed.
The mandala in the middle had disappeared, all that remained was a huge black ball, not even light emanating from it.
It looked like a vacuum in space, with the light disappearing somewhere, but even without getting close, Jugo could feel the enormous power of the curse that this thing held.
Jugo knew that just looking at that thing would drive anyone less than a saint insane on the spot.
Placing his hand on the sphere, Jugo felt that there were no more "eyes", it was all one and the souls had been consumed long ago, greatly increasing the curse of this thing. The power hadn't been lost, it was still considered a Tenseigan, but there was much more to it than that.
The curse on this thing was so great that if he truly merged with it, any curse he cast in the future would suffer a tremendous intensification. The kind of curse that would require a great sacrifice just to achieve its full effect.
Jugo sensed that this eye represented a danger even to himself if he removed it from the Tenebrous World, this alone excited him, after all, the power of an Angel is just one action away.
Jugo had to rack his brains to achieve this result, but the outcome was extremely satisfying.
Taking a deep breath, he finally returned to Otogakure, ready to discover how to act as a Disciple of Silence.
