Jugo had been following Kimimaro ever since he gave him the 'task'. He was in his Wraith form, so none of them could see him. This made Jugo consider whether he should give Kimimaro some kind of eye power.
Although it wasn't useful for seeing it currently, having to possess at least a Rinnegan for that, it was still better than nothing.
Well, he could synthesize some Tenseigans using the Hyuga's eyes, but he wouldn't randomly attack Konoha just to get Tenseigans.
In any case, he went off on a tangent for a moment, Kimimaro was proving himself to be increasingly... peculiar.
Jugo's goal was for Kimimaro to find a partner, so that when he removed the werewolf curse, he would still have connections beyond Orochimaru.
Of course, he couldn't simply tell the man what he wanted, otherwise, when Kimimaro regained his senses, he might react strongly, to the point of even killing his wife and children just to prove his devotion to Orochimaru.
No, Jugo wanted Kimimaro to search on his own and believe that everything had been his doing from the beginning, of course, in addition to Jugo's order for him to start a family.
Jugo invented a random reason for it, but he regretted it, seeing Kimimaro continue to delve deeper and deeper into the misunderstanding, to the point where he and Tayuya quickly planned how to make Tsunade give birth to children for him.
Jugo put his hand to his head, speechless.
Damn, that duo really made him doubt his own intelligence.
It became increasingly clear to Jugo that the Werewolf curse was incredibly evil, these two cared about nothing but following orders, which seemed fine, but Jugo felt a deep disgust in him, especially regarding Kimimaro. He remembered their friendship, though toxic, and he had no doubt that Kimimaro could die for Jugo if Orochimaru wasn't involved.
It was really complicated, perhaps that's why, among all the werewolves, Kimimaro was the one Jugo most wanted to free, but he didn't just want to free him from the werewolf curse, but also from Orochimaru's.
Jugo thought he could seal Orochimaru's memories from Kimimaro, but he refused that as well, it would be no different than forcing Kimimaro to obey him.
He was constantly walking a tightrope when it came to dealing with Kimimaro.
Deep in thought, he knew he needed to help again. Does he want a strong woman? Jugo would give him one.
The next moment, Jugo disappeared from Otogakure.
It took a few teleports, but in just 10 seconds, he appeared in Mei's room in Kirigakure.
Mei wasn't there, it was daytime, she was probably in her tower. Jugo, still in his invisible form, went there and found the woman easily.
He appeared directly in front of her desk while she was reading a document.
As soon as he appeared, four Kiri Anbu ninjas jumped out, surrounding Jugo and pointing their swords at him.
-Stop!- Mei said quickly, causing the four to freeze. When they realized it was Jugo, they trembled slightly, but didn't move. They were Kiri ninjas, and even more so, Anbu, if they had to die for the mission, so be it.
Fortunately, Jugo didn't even look at them, because why should he? Even if he stood still, those guys wouldn't be able to hurt him in the slightest, instead, he still kept his eyes on Mei.
-Darling.- Mei stood up, surprised, then frowned at the group of Anbu. -Leave. Next time, don't attack him.
The group of Anbu ninjas simply nodded and quickly left the room through the window. They breathed a sigh of mental relief, although they weren't afraid of death, it was better that they didn't die today.
Mei approached Jugo and asked with a sweet smile. -Have you missed me already?
Jugo glanced at the movement of Mei's breasts, but quickly looked away and spoke. -Do you still have Pakura's body?
Mei stopped, surprised, frowning slightly, she seemed to remember something from when she was still a chunin.
-Probably, I'm not sure, why the question?- She tilted her head slightly, tucking her hair behind her ear, curiously, but clearly flirting to try and find out something.
Jugo rolled his eyes at her and said. -Just give me the body.
Mei pouted, but seeing Jugo's indifferent look, she let out a light snort and nodded. She led him away to the Kiri research center, the body was probably sealed there, after all, Pakura had a Kekkei Genkai.
Knowing that the woman had appeared in the war, Jugo wondered how Kabuto had infiltrated Kiri to take the body away, but that wasn't his problem.
Finally, in a sterile room filled with drawers covered in seals, a Kiri ninja dressed as a doctor opened the drawer for him.
Inside, the body didn't smell, a mixture of physical preservation and seals had kept the woman's body in a decent state, although the bluish, dry skin clearly indicated that she had died a long time ago.
Under the watchful eyes of Mei and the ninjas at the research center, Jugo picked up the corpse, the next moment, he and the corpse vanished.
Mei blinked, staring at the empty space, pouting, her expression clearly annoyed.
From beginning to end, Jugo simply showed up, took what he wanted, and left.
She thought he had come all this way for her, but he came for a dead woman!
Mei's thoughts ran wild for a moment, wondering if Jugo had some kind of strange fetish.
If Jugo knew Mei's current thoughts, he would turn her into a rat and let her be Yugito's toy for a while.
