After the "God War" incident, the idea of transforming Hell into a super-prison was not immediately approved.
Due to the deeply ingrained fear of Hell in the hearts of Earthlings, many heroes raised humanitarian concerns.
They, as heroes, might not care, but they had to consider the public's acceptance.
If Dane's status as the Lord of Hell were exploited by those with ulterior motives, it could turn a good thing into a bad one.
Out of a desire to protect Dane's reputation, some heroes chose to object.
This made it impossible for Dane to be angry.
How to put it, Dane hadn't actually considered the humanitarian concerns of these people when he proposed this suggestion.
If a person is so heinous that they deserve to go to Hell, should they still be shown humanitarian spirit?
Dane is a demon god and also the God of Death. The greatest mercy he can give these criminals is to reduce their suffering in life and send them directly to Hell for punishment.
However, Dane was very pleased that there were no overly compassionate individuals in his Justice League; everyone's concerns about the super-prison did not stem from the criminals' perspective.
That's right, why talk about mercy and humanity when dealing with vicious individuals?
Being able to refrain from killing them on the spot was already a great restraint.
Although the proposal was not passed, Dane was not at all anxious; he believed that there would always be a day when it would be useful.
The matter of the super-prison was set aside, but another proposal was unanimously approved by the Justice League.
Barry Allen, due to his performance in Hell, was recognized by the other members of the Justice League and officially joined the Justice League, becoming one of them.
Barry had just found out that Shazam's true identity was the president of Vanguard Technology, a renowned technology leader in the country.
He was stunned when Dane removed the confusion spell's effect in front of him.
But upon reflection, he didn't find it surprising. The source of the Justice League's supplies had always been a mystery.
Some speculated it was supported by official capital, but this couldn't explain the Justice League's stance.
If the government were truly the Justice League's financial backer, how could they not make the Justice League do their dirty work, given their nature?
Moreover, the Justice League had recently declared its withdrawal from the U.S., even abandoning its nationality, which completely confirmed that the official capital theory was just a rumor.
Barry had made many wild guesses before, one of which was his belief that there must be a wealthy individual in the Justice League supporting the team.
He never expected to be right!
Next, Dane also promised Barry that he would cover all his tuition and fees during his university years.
This huge windfall left Barry dizzy and disoriented.
It's important to know that education costs in the U.S. are extremely high, almost equivalent to carrying a mortgage.
And the higher the institution one enters, the higher the fees tend to be.
Although scholarships are available, there are many excellent students, and that meager scholarship is simply not enough to go around.
Moreover, scholarships can only solve the problem of tuition fees, not living expenses.
And books in the U.S. are extremely expensive; Barry could only ever rent books he was interested in, never daring to buy them.
Barry Allen lost his mother at a very young age, and his father was wrongly imprisoned, so his life had always been very difficult.
Besides studying, working two or three jobs a day was normal.
Honestly, under such pressure, he could still maintain a pure and kind heart, truly worthy of being called the "conscience of the Justice League."
Such a high-quality hero, since Dane had brought him in, certainly couldn't treat him poorly.
If his tuition and fees could be covered, his life would be much easier.
He couldn't be like Spider-Man, unable to even eat because he was a hero, could he?
Do the people of the U.S. deserve such sacrifice from him?
In addition to that, Dane also brought Barry a surprise: "Barry, I heard your father has been wrongly imprisoned for over ten years. Is that true?"
Barry's excited mood suddenly felt like a bucket of cold water had been poured over it, and his spirits sank.
"Yes, but I can guarantee that my dad absolutely didn't do it! He... they just don't know how much my dad loved her..."
At this point, Barry's voice choked up slightly.
Dane patted his head consolingly, then told him some good news:
"Barry, bring me the case files from your father's trial back then. I'll have Vanguard Technology's legal department look at them. If there are any crucial videos or other similar evidence, bring those too, and I'll have the technical department see if they can restore them."
Dane still remembered that in the Flash's solo movie, Barry had kept a piece of video evidence: surveillance footage of his father buying ketchup at a supermarket.
That video could prove that Barry's father was not present at the time his mother was murdered, thus clearing his name.
However, due to the age of the video, his father's appearance was not discernible.
At the end of the movie, the video was restored using the latest technology from Wayne Group, clearing his father's name.
He could completely replicate this process.
Actually, with Dane's current wealth, he could easily pave the way with money; not to mention his father was truly innocent, even if he were a real murderer, Dane could get him out.
Just look at Lex Luthor; prison is like his second home, he goes in and out as he pleases.
The U.S. judicial system is nothing but a decoration in the face of money, easily shattered.
However, considering that this case had become a knot in the hearts of both father and son, if he couldn't be acquitted honorably and cleanly, they might never find peace.
So Dane could only help them in this rather troublesome way.
After Barry heard Dane's words, he once again felt like he had been hit by a pie, and this time the pie was heavier; he was almost dumbfounded.
At this moment, he even felt that it wouldn't matter if he sold himself to the other party.
Dane saw that he was very excited and began to motivate him.
"I'm doing all this to help you resolve your worries as much as possible, Barry. You have great potential and can achieve even greater things, whether as an ordinary person or a superhero."
"But if a superhero cannot even protect his own family, how can he protect the public?"
Barry was greatly encouraged and, with an excited heart, went back to prepare the case files and materials. He had a premonition that this time his father would surely be cleared!
After Barry left, only Dane remained in the Hall of Justice.
Suddenly, a Flash of light, and Cortana appeared in the hall, holding a golden helmet in both hands.
That was the helmet of fate.
Dane took it with both hands and said to her, "Cortana, the matter of Faora and the Genesis Chamber relocating to Hell is entrusted to you."
Cortana nodded and then vanished as a wisp of light.
After she left, golden light suddenly illuminated the surroundings, and Nabu manifested himself in front of Dane.
He looked like an invisible man wearing a helmet and a cloak but without a physical form; only the fluctuations of magic could indicate that this was a spiritual entity.
"I have done everything you asked. Now, shouldn't I be returned to Kent?"
Dane, however, smiled and said, "I think our cooperation has been quite pleasant. Why are you in such a hurry to leave? Or… why don't you just stay and help me?"
When Nabu heard him say this, his divine power began to surge, as if he wanted to break free from Dane's grasp.
But Dane's hands were as steady as a mountain. He raised one hand and then brought it down, suppressing Ares' divine power with a single palm.
With that palm, Nabu's divine power, which he had painstakingly gathered, was instantly dispersed.
After all, he was just a helmet now; without a host, he was no match for Dane.
"You want to go back on our agreement!" Nabu was very angry.
"You can't even take a joke, you're so boring," Dane said regretfully.
If Nabu was unwilling to cooperate, getting this helmet would be useless to him.
So he chose another request: "I can return you to Kent, but you must tell me where high-purity N Metal is?"
Nabu pondered for a moment and said, "Thanagar has high-purity N Metal."
Dane was noncommittal; he knew this, of course, but he couldn't just go and steal it, could he?
That was an entire advanced civilization.
And Hawkgirl… Dane felt that she seemed to be hiding some secrets, and her purpose in coming to Earth was probably not simple.
Tonight he would investigate to see what useful information he could get.
"Thanagar is too far. I want to know if there is any on Earth."
