It made sense why Jeffrey had chosen last night to act — Whitney lived directly across from Sera, and with tensions rising that sharply, staying put would have been dangerous for her. Throughout the whole thing, Jeffrey stood above it all, watching the chaos unfold with cold, calculating eyes.
When Sera appeared again, she had lost the child.
