Above the Atlantic – S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier

Peter POV:

The quinjet touched down on a runway that wasn't supposed to exist. What looked like a floating airbase from the outside unfolded its secret, massive turbines the size of buildings roaring to life.

The Helicarrier, breaking through the mist and into the open sky like a metal titan awakening.

Steve stared, wide-eyed. "I still can't believe this is real."

Fury smirked. "This is as real as it gets Captain."

Tony muttered, "Great. A flying aircraft carrier. Because the one thing we needed in the sky was more targets."

Gwen, adjusting her bracelets, shot him a look. "Don't be jealous. You just didn't think of it first."

Tony quipped back, "Please, I'd have added cup holders."

The deck trembled as the turbines hit full thrust, the entire structure stabilizing midair. Down below, the ocean turned into a whirl of mist and sunlit spray.

Moments Later – The Science Deck

A wall of transparent screens projected from a handheld tab surrounded Dr. Bruce Banner as he studied energy signatures from the Tesseract. Tony hovered beside him, already tweaking parameters like a kid with a new toy. I was crunching equations while the Sandevistan on my spine glowed neon orange like always.

"You're telling me this thing's a doorway?" Tony asked.

Banner nodded. "Potentially. A wormhole generator. You'd need an insane power source to stabilize it, though."

Tony quipped. "A cosmic cube that bends reality? Yeah, sounds like our Tuesday."

"Don't forget the fact it needs to be pure energy directly generated from a single source not like fission or fusion." I added without looking up from my readings.

Behind us, Steve and Gwen observed quietly. Steve was fascinated by the tech. Gwen was… less so.

Her spider-sense tingled faintly. Not danger but something else. The energy from Loki's sceptre was singing, resonating through the air like a heartbeat.

Thor, standing nearby, tilted his head toward her. "You wear Uru upon your hands."

Gwen blinked. "Uh… yeah. Gauntlets. Custom work. A little extra protection as I don't feel ready to wear armour made from it in the visage of a heavenly angel."

Thor's eyes narrowed. "Uru is sacred. No mortal smith could tame it."

There was a beat of silence. Gwen winced. "Well… about that…"

Everyone looked at her. Tony, Steve, Bruce, Fury even Loki from behind his glass cell as they had walked into the containment area because they were coming to question Loki. She scratched her head awkwardly.

"I might've gotten them from… Peter."

Tony frowned. "Parker Peter? As in 'I build more tech before breakfast than NASA in a decade' Peter?"

Thor stepped closer, intrigued. "Impossible. Even the Dwarves of Nidavellir cannot summon the celestial fires required to shape Uru at will. It takes time, preparation and ritual."

Gwen blurted without thinking, "Oh, he can. He's got a celestial forge."

Silence.

Every head turned toward me, the innocent me who was leaning against the wall, sipping coffee and crunching equations with the air of someone who very much didn't want to be in this conversation.

I blinked at the sudden attention, raised a brow and said absolutely nothing.

Then I started whistling while working.

Tony's eyes widened. "You have a what now?"

Fury pinched the bridge of his nose. "Please tell me you didn't just say 'celestial forge.' "

Gwen tried and failed to suppress a laugh. A snort escaped instead, earning her a stare from me and she just innocently shrugged.

"Look," I said casually, "everyone needs a hobby. Some people build model ships. I just happen to… forge at the quantum-astral level."

Bruce looked equal parts fascinated and terrified. "That's not a hobby, that's... that's god-tier manufacturing."

Steve rubbed his temples. "Is this normal for you two?"

Gwen grinned. "Define normal."

Observation Deck – Later

Below, clouds rolled by like waves. Above, the sun cast golden light across the deck. The world stretched endless and beautiful.

Fury walked up beside me, watching me silently for a moment.

"You know, son," Fury said, "if I didn't know better, I'd say you're holding out on us."

I replied. "Director, I've been holding out since the day you met me. The tech I gave out to the world wasn't even my best stuff."

Fury chuckled under his breath. "Somehow, that doesn't surprise me."

He turned to leave but stopped halfway. "Just don't let your toys start another war."

My eyes darkened slightly. "I don't start wars. I end them before they happen."

"You think you can contain power like this?" He said. "You can't control a storm by building walls around it."

The camera in the corner blinked red, monitoring me.

I smiled at the camera.

The Lounge – A Brief Moment of Calm

Tony was showing Bruce his latest armor HUD schematics while Gwen flipped through reports. Steve, ever the soldier, sat quietly cleaning his shield.

"Y'know," Tony said, sipping coffee, "this is the part where everything looks calm before it explodes."

Gwen looked up. "You say that like it's a surprise."

Tony smirked. "With my life? It's tradition."

" In ours as well." I added.
