At this moment, inside a small alley, a purple unidentified creature was boredly poking a man and a woman lying unconscious to the side with a tree branch.
Patrol robots frequently passed by the mouth of the alley, occasionally scanning the area.
Strangely, despite facing this purple unidentified creature and the two humans lying there, these patrol robots showed no reaction at all, as if they saw nothing, and quickly moved on with their patrol.
However, if one observed carefully, one could find that these two people were actually emitting a faint purple light.
It was this faint purple light that caused the group of patrol robots to directly ignore these two living humans and the purple unidentified creature.
Before long, the purple unidentified creature seemed to sense something. It immediately dropped the branch and looked expectantly at a spot in the alley.
In the next moment, a purple vortex appeared out of thin air in the small alley, and Cipher stepped out from within it.
Just as Cipher emerged from the purple vortex, the purple unidentified creature lunged over and said:
"Big Sister Cipher, you're finally out!"
Cipher merely raised an eyebrow at this. Her gaze lingered on the unconscious man and woman for a moment before she turned to the purple unidentified creature and asked:
"Bartholos, have you completed the task I gave you?"
"Of course!" Hearing Cipher's question, Bartholos crossed its arms proudly. "Who do you think I am?"
Cipher turned her gaze back to the two individuals, muttering to herself with a slight frown:
"These are the people who have been prying from behind the scenes? It doesn't feel quite right..."
"Hmm? Big Sister, what's not right?"
Sensing Cipher's doubt, Bartholos also looked over with some confusion.
"Well..." Cipher first rubbed her chin and then thought aloud, "I remember that the feeling of being watched back then was so intense it felt like a multitude of people were observing me. If it's just these two... I feel the sensation wouldn't have been that strong."
"A multitude of people observing you, Big Sister?" Hearing this, Bartholos paused for a moment before saying with some confusion, "When I found the room where they were prying on you, aside from this man and woman who seemed to be the leaders, the rest appeared to be just a group of staff members, maybe five or six people."
"Five or six people... that's still not right." After hearing Bartholos's explanation, Cipher thought for a moment and shook her head again. "It still doesn't seem to match up."
But soon she stopped dwelling on the matter and fixed her gaze directly on the pair.
"Forget it. Since they are the leaders, I'll just wake them up and ask. Why bother thinking about it myself?"
Having said that, Cipher snapped her fingers. In the next instant, her appearance reverted back to Pardofelis.
After doing this, a smile appeared on Pardofelis's face. She reached out and pulled out a cup of coffee emitting a strange aura.
Immediately afterward, she gently poured a bit of this strange coffee into the mouths of these two people.
