Random tropical island, somewhere in the Second God's Sanctuary.
"Hiss! Urk!"
Max caught the neck of a lunging, 10-foot tall reptile with ease and crushed it, throwing it into several of its kin with the force of a locomotive; he floated through a chaotic battlefield with an excited look on his face while going on a creature kill spree.
A thick tail was caught by Max and then the unfriendly, unlucky dinosaur it was attached to was used as a flail. Max spun around like a living propeller, sending around 15 of the fiends flying away before dropping what was left of his fleshy weapon to the ground.
The 20 remnants of the pack of Mutant-class, raptor-like creatures screeched in anger and all lunged, their jaws dripping with acidic venom.
Max wasn't concerned, not one little bit. The 'Lady Providence' aspect of his super body was firing on all cylinders, his awareness mapped the dinosaurs potential trajectories perfectly, allowing Max to absolutely control the fight.
He tilted his huge body three inches to the left. An ugly brown claw almost grazed his chest. He dipped his shoulder two inches down. A jet of acid shot harmlessly past his ear, melting a palm tree behind him.
He didn't waste a single movement. Max was always exactly where the danger wasn't, until he became the danger.
With a flick of his wrist, Max caused the iron-heavy volcanic sand beneath the raptors to liquefy, surging upward like black spikes.
The metal-infused earth impaled the pack instantly, spraying jets of blood everywhere and causing them to all stop moving at almost exactly the same time.
Max withdrew the hold he had on the now red-dyed sand and let it fall to the ground, along with all of the raptors it had just turned into Swiss cheese.
From the stone battlements, a hideous Sacred-Blood creature that could be best described as a chimera roared downwards at him.
At the exact same microsecond, a stray piece of jagged iron from Max's own raging magnetic storm ricocheted off a shelter pillar. 'Lady Luck' and [Domino] guided the shrapnel.
It sliced perfectly through the latest roar just as it left the chimera's mouth. The rock ripped into its head, exploding in the meat and shattering half its skull, but not killing it outright.
'Brown-scaled claw lizard killed. Beast Soul not gained. Eat its meat to gain 0 to 10 Mutant geno points.'
'Brown scaled claw lizard killed. Beast Soul of brown-scaled claw lizard gained. Eat its meat to gain 0 to 10 Mutant geno points.'
'Brown-scaled claw lizard killed. Beast Soul not gained. Eat its meat to gain 0 to 10 Mutant geno points.'
'Brown scaled claw lizard killed. Beast Soul of brown-scaled claw lizard gained. Eat its meat to gain 0 to 10 Mutant geno points...'
'Brown scaled claw lizard killed. Beast Soul of brown-scaled claw lizard gained. Eat its meat to gain 0 to 10 Mutant geno points...'
Countless, backed-up messages sounded off in Max's mind as he moved in to finish the job.
He flashed upward, appearing right above the reeling chimera. His huge fist clenched, muscles coiled, expanding slightly. He threw a lazy, straight-line punch into the less damaged side of the chimera's head.
Max had been living in the 2nd God's Sanctuary, hermit/nomad style for two years now. He had already finished collecting all 500 geno points available in the Second God's Sanctuary-Ordinary through Super, over the last couple years, and was thus at the pinnacle of the Second God's Sanctuary already, currently sitting at around 360 fitness when in a relaxed state.
The sheer kinetic force of his random punch didn't just crush the Sacred Blood chimera; the shockwave blasted through the stone battlements, tearing a thirty-meter line of destruction into the shelter's inner courtyard.
'Berserk hell-feather dragon killed. Beast soul of berserk hell-feather dragon gained. Eat its meat to gain 0 to 10 Sacred-blood geno points...'
He landed heavily in the building ruins he had just created, the stone cracking under his weight.
At the center of the courtyard, a Royal Spirit stood watching the destruction of its shelter.
As she grew more and more angry, she started radiating an aura of light. The spirit looked down at Max with cold disdain, raising her hands to command the rest of her army to assault the intruder.
Max wiped a speck of black ash from his shoulder while staring back at the master of the shelter.
He smiled for a moment and then stuck out his tongue while pulling down his right eyelid with his finger, before his massive frame shifted into a loose, predatory stance.
Max was pulling out the 'Yujiro Hanma' pose from the manga 'Baki' on her.
He didn't need to use [Destiny] to see the future to know how this was going to end. The Royal spirit didn't just stand there and command its legion of fiends anymore, his outstretched, 'come get some' arms had clearly provoked her.
''Haha, come to daddy, you weird, sexy, silly idiot...'' Max decided to throw fuel on the fire, cat-calling her and insulting her at the same time.
She knew that this strange human was probably much more than she could handle but she moved towards Max with blinding speed anyways.
Fueled by rage, a lethal blur of ethereally pale skin, iridescent marking and long hair came streaking towards Max.
She was an absolute babe, possessing a two and a half meter tall, hourglass figure, but she looked completely alien at the same time—her eyes were a solid, burning sapphire, and silky white hair floated around her as if she were underwater.
Her impressive 'assets' shifted and jiggled with every violent, fluid strike, barely contained by the ornate, metallic armor hugging her body. She wielded a heavy polearm crafted from a silver alloy that hummed with her infused energy.
Max engaged Heavenly Go and Seven Twists, swaying his huge frame effortlessly through the air as he leapt forward to meet her.
The spirit thrust her polearm forward, aiming to punch a hole straight through Max's chest.
Max simply leaned back, his heels now seemingly glued to the stone floor. The silver blade came within a hairs-width of his chest.
'Oooo... cinematic, this is some ultra instinct shit!' Max thought as he watched the spirit doing its best to hit him, he was currently playing, using his vastly superior fitness, his super body and finally, Heavenly Go paired with Seven Twists, to manipulate the spirit into moving and attacking him exactly how he wanted her to.
The spirit realized she was hitting nothing but air and being toyed with very quickly. She snarled, spinning her weapon in a horizontal arc aiming to take his head off.
Max ducked, the displaced air pressure whipping his hair.
Before she could make another move, he flashed diagonally forward, then snapped backward, dodging a sudden manifestation of blue energy blades she summoned out of thin air. He was dancing on the head of a pin, completely unbothered. As she pulled the polearm back for a overhead smash, Max stopped moving for a moment. He looked at her striking, otherworldly face and smirked.
'Man, it'd be a real shame to ruin a face like that...' Max thought.
'I really don't want the blood of a pretty spirit on my hands... Maybe this one will surrender?'
"Hey, so, I don't feel like punching you so hard in the boob that you'll die... what're the chances you'll submit?"
"Never! Fuck you! Go to hell, you filthy human! I'll feed you to my thralls!"
"...I'll take that as a no... Oh well, I've seen what your kind is willing to do to humans, can't let you go free."
So far, not a single spirit had decided to give up their freedom to Max, each choosing to self detonate their spirit stones instead.
Instead of raising a fist to physically smash the spirit in her large chest, which he implied he was going to do moments ago - Max simply used his [Electromagnetism]. Max didn't touch her. He didn't have to. The silvery polearm in her hands suddenly convulsed.
Sapphire eyes widened in pure shock as the metal rebelled against her grip. Max's absolute authority over metal gripped the weapon, twisting the shaft in mid-air.
The silver blade left her hands and then turned completely around, reversing which direction the business end of the weapon was facing. Before she could even think of moving or dodging, the polearm surged backward towards her, skewering her cleanly through the chest.
She gasped, her slightly glowing form flickering violently as she dropped and slid down the shaft of the weapon to her knees, pinned to the courtyard floor.
Max didn't wait for her to dissolve into thin air upon 'death' like most spirits would. He turned his back on the now escaping creatures fleeing the battlefield and strode directly into the shadowed arches of the inner sanctuary, heading straight for the Spirit Hall to claim and then crush her spirit stone.
