The sound of flames burst out in intermittent waves. A young man with bright blond hair lay face-down beneath the wreckage of a vehicle made from heavy metal. "Ugh! Fucking shit!"
When he rolled onto his back, he saw his arm. "Huh?! Aaagh—! WAAAH—! My arm's broken! Oh shit—! Woo! Woohoo! Ay-ay-ay-ay! Woohoohoo—!"
"Why are you screaming so loud?!" a woman's husky voice shouted from the other side of the twisted metal.
"The ship crashed! Help me first, Rolina~~~!!!~~~ Oh damn, fire, fire, fire! Blisters! I'm about to get barbecued alive~~!"
He yelled at the top of his lungs as the flames crept closer and closer, unable to move.
"Hold on! I'm looking for the dog! Fuzzy, get over here!"
Her voice disappeared after that.
"To hell with the dog! I'm dying here! WAAAH~~~ FIRE, FIRE, FIRE!"
The blond man puffed at the advancing flames.
"Pfft! Pfft~"
"Sam! You're makin' it worse....ugh, for fuck's sake." the lady sighed.
Suddenly, sunlight poured down from above.
The short-haired woman hooked his sleeve with her foot and dragged him out of the wreck with inhuman leg strength.
"Ohhh~ shit."
He was hauled across orange gravel and dumped onto the ground.
The blond man, a tattooed script running across his face, lay there gasping.
"Cough—ptooey! Thanks a lot, sweetheart. Hee-hee."
He grinned up at the woman standing against the sun, her face lost in the glare.
His rainbow-coated teeth flashed brilliantly. "Gniii—hee-hee-h---"
Thud.
Her foot smashed straight into his face, knocking him unconscious.
A small blue-furred dog with a strange appearance padded up beside her leg. Its pointed ears stood straight up, and a single tooth jutted from its mouth like a goblin's fang. The little creature trotted over to the unconscious man's face, its jaw splitting open into two flaps like something from a horror film. A long tongue slid out and licked the black soot from his skin.
"Idiot. My ship's fireproof, you know. Empty-headed moron."
The woman sighed in embarrassment.
Their craft had come down in the middle of a barren desert.
"There's a rollover here!"
A man's voice suddenly shouted from far away.
The woman narrowed her eyes at the approaching blue airship.
"Gu-baa!"
She uttered the strange word, and the blue plating of their wreck rippled as its molecular structure adjusted, turning translucent. Within moments, the craft had become invisible.
"Guess I'll have to play the injured victim now."
She closed her eyes and dropped to the ground.
Footsteps thundered closer and closer across the gravel.
"Brian! Call an ambulance!" a mysterious woman shouted to the man still some distance away.
