I thought that this guy was a bit rude and a bit unsuitable for this role, but soon I heard his friend say :
Senpai, your words just now had violated the school rules, the word should be a Course 2 student .
The guy seemed to have realized this as well and directly apologized, seeing him apologizing this easily made me revaluate him in my mind, then the two of them had introduced themselves to us, the guy that looked like a hooligan and who got disciplined just now was called Tatsumi Koutarou and the other guy who berated him just now and looked like a nice guy was called Sawaki Midori .
After the introduction was done, the two of them wondered if they can see the abilities that made Tatsuya be admitted to the committee, leaving me out of this kind of conversation, then they were shocked to know about him defeating Hattori who as I had suspected seemed to be renowned for his combat strength .
The two shook hands with Tatsuya after knowing this and showered the boss of theirs for her good eyes, I looked at this scene and just continued to put things back in order, I had already finished sorting everything on my side and was about to head out to the my class .
But then she asked me to take an armband that I would need to put on while strolling through the school, she also mentioned that all the equipment here are free to be used, but they should not be lost or disposed off, else there would be some problems .
I nodded at her, took my armband and my communication device, put everything in my pocket then I directly got out of the room, I wasn't in hurry or anything, but feeling left out just now wasn't a good feeling to say the least, I understood that they weren't ignoring me on purpose, but it's just the family behind me made them alarmed .
I headed to my class and on the way, I saw Leo and Erika, they looked a bit bewildered and seemed to be looking for something or maybe someone, I went to them and asked about what was going on after greeting them, only one responded to my greeting, but I still found out what was going on, they were searching for Mizuki, she already said that she was in the school .
But now her phone was now out of service and they were worried about where she might have gone, seeing them like this, I offered to help and even though Erika still seemed to be unwilling to ask me to, she didn't say anything to dissuade me from helping .
I checked where Mizuki was with my Spatial Eyes, now I'm able to use Magic in the school as I like, finding her was quite easy, I seeing where she was become a bit surprised, but seeing how she was acting, I couldn't help but say to the two in front of me :
" Maybe she had just went to the toilet or something like that ? .
I don't know why my answer earned me another glare from Erika, but Leo sided with my opinion and he said that her phone may have ran out or had some problems with it, which for some weird reason that I didn't know made the two fell into a quarrel, then the two went to their classes after hearing the calls for all the students to head to their classes .
After the two went away, I knocked on the door of the room that they were standing in front a few times and after a few seconds, the door was opened and a head appeared from behind the door, a girl with golden yellowish eyes donning a glasess appeared from behind the door, she was Mizuki who the two were trying to find just now .
Her face flushed with embarrassment as she asked if the coast was clear, I nodded and she finally stepped outside the room and removed her glasses and looked at me and said embarrassingly :
Good morning, Ryuu-san .
" Good morning, Mizuki .
So, ummm, I was, ummmm .
" You should head to class first, you don't have to explain anything to me, y'know, just try not to turn off your phone next time, that way, you won't make them worry about your safety, okay, now if you excuse me .
As I was about to get moving, a hand suddenly reached for my jacket and clinged to it, I turned my head and saw that the timid girl closed the distance between us and stared directly into my eyes and she said :
They are beautiful .
I was surprised at this at first and the girl too seemed to have absentmindedly blurted that out and only after she regained her senses did her face become completely red like tomatoes and even heat began to rise from her head, I didn't know how to respond to a compliment like this, this was the first or maybe the second time someone complimented my eyes .
Your eyes, I can see your real eyes without the glasses and I thought, they were beautiful, like a two amethyst crystals, I'm sorry for being this weird .
Thegirl started moving her hand while blurting everything that seemed to land on her tongue nervously, I saw her like this and tried to comfort her, believing that this what friends are for, I said :
" You are not much weirder than everyone else, so calm down and don't worry about it much, I too think you have beautiful eyes, a pair of golden suns that can see through all the secrets of the world .
As I said this, she seem to have become ashamed of herself for some reason, she mumbled in a low voice, saying :
Sorry .
" For what, for having beautiful eyes, I'm not trying to embarrass you or anything, but you indeed have the most beautiful eyes I have seen, thanks for giving me a chance to adore them, but you really need to head for your classroom now .
The girl heard my words and seemed to be stunned in place, her breathing become rigid as if she was suffering from asthma or something similar, then after another call sounded and called for the students to head to their classroom, did she finally wake up from her trance .
Her face was blushing and she was staring on the ground in shame while mumbling, saying :
Could you not tell.... .
" It's not my position to tell them, just remember that you have friends who care about your well being, see you later .
I couldn't help but head directly to my classroom remembering that I'm being reported daily to my mother, so if she found an absence, she would most definitely give me an earful like yesterday, so I can no longer linger here, after bidding her farewell, I had went to my classroom .
After the class was over, I reconnected with Juvia who asked me about the reason I was late, I said that I was helping someone to reach his classroom, it was lunchtime and she took upon herself to prepare us bentos .
Just as I was about to head for the rooftop and get some fresh air and good view, my phone suddenly rang and I saw that I got a message from someone, opening the message, I saw that it was from Miyuki, she was inviting me to have lunch in the cafeteria with her friends .
I got a bit suspicious about her friends, Moriasaki came to my mind and thought she was asking me to help her, I went to the cafeteria, once I entered with Juvia, I saw two hands waving at me, one belonged to Leo, the other belonged to Mizuki, the still sore Erika just gave me a snort, I really do wonder about what in the world had I done to this girl .
So those were the friends she mentioned, well, if those were the people I'm sharing table with, then I have no complains, Miyuki was there and so was Tatsuya, sitting down on the other end of the table, I couldn't help but wonder about what happened after we left yesterday, thinking that this might have been the sole reason to why that situation yesterday happened .
Erika being the troublemaker she was, was the instigator to what happened yesterday, at least that how she sounded from her story about what happened, then Leo and Mizuki came to her rescue and saying that she wasn't and it was all Moriasaki's and his friends fault .
Seeing them so heated in defending her, I couldn't help but turn to Miyuki and she just shrugged her shoulders at me, seeing her reaction, I understood why they were reacting like this .
She had told them about me and Tatsuya being admitted to the Public Morals Committee, but hadn't told them that the investigation about what had happened yesterday had already been closed, this was quite weird to me at least .
I first calmed the agitated bunch, then I told them about all that had happened, minus a few details that I believed them not ready to hear, after I finished saying all that I have to say, I saw that Mizuki and Leo both released breath of relief while Erika continued to frown and just said in a whispering tone :
So frustrating, I feel indebted to that woman now .
I had no clue about who were the woman she was talking about was, but after some brief contemplation, I couldn't help but wonder if there was a connection between Erika and Watanabe Mari-senpai, but I couldn't continue contemplating for much longer, I felt as if someone's leg had kicked me just now, cutting me off my thoughts .
Seeing the short Mizuki already sinking in her chair, I figured that it was here without using Magic, I saw the pleading look in her eyes and kind of understand what she was trying to say, I nodded my head briefly at her and she blushed and finally sat normally on her chair, the others were having all sorts of conversations with each other, so they weren't able to keenly notice this .
And those who did, didn't care much to ask about what was happening, all but one person, a troublemaker girl who tend to feel content about herself through teasing other people, she leaned into Miyuki's ear and whispered something that made the girl who was already blushing started to have smoke coming out of her head .
She instantly excused herself and went to the bathroom, I looked at Erika and she just stuck her tongue at me in a playful manner, seeing her acting like this, I understood that it would be meaningless to try and say anything to her, so I just dropped the subject .
But Erika's actions weren't without consequences, Juvia happened to see our interaction and she raised an eyebrow at this, her reaction made Miyuki who was talking to her also become aware of something and she too frowned slightly at this, seeing all this happening, I almost excused myself and headed to the bathroom too .
But luckily, someone who I would have never expected came to my rescue, Moriasaki followed by a group of his friends, if that what they call one another headed towards our table, I thought that they were her to make some troubles again .
It seem that Tatsuya and Leo together with Miyuki all thought the same, the only oblivious to this was Erika who her seat happened to prevent her from seeing the incoming group of people, she looked at us looking behind her and her frustration seemed to turn into embarrassment, thinking we were looking at her .
She was about to lash out at us, but just as she stood up from her chair and was about to go berserk, Moriasaki's voice came from behind her, startling her and forcing her to sat herself back down on the chair .
I couldn't help but laugh at this unexpected scene, which made her more embarrassed and she finally lashed out but at Moriasaki and his group, but hearing what he said she stopped midway her talking, Moriasaki came here and bowed his head down and said :
I'm sorry for bothering all of you yesterday, from this day forward, I hope you all can look forward to me changing my ways and my mindset, I hope you would accept my apology, all of you ? .
Erika who was already planning on cursing all of his family as it seems, took a deep breath and calmed down instantly, she swallowed her prepared insults, then she said bewildered at what was going on, saying :
Whh, what are you doing ? .
Moriasaki was still bowing down and so was the guys from yesterday's incident who I had finally recognize, two girls in particular surprised me with their presence, Honoka And Shizuku, the two of them were apologizing as well, I wasn't sure for what though .
Mizuki had also finally calmed herself down and returned from the bathroo, but she was met with this situation in front of her, which made her more bewildered than anyone currently present, she stood rooted to the ground and being the shy girl she is, she turned towards everyone else for an explanation, but unlucky none of us had full grasp of what was going on .
The silence continued to reign for some time, the two girls in particular were struggling to keep going like this any longer, seeing them like this, I decided to be the one to break his aim of coming here while making sure of his intention myself, I said :
" So to put it simply, you came here today like this to apologize, am I correct ? .
He nodded his head, I couldn't help but believe that he really might be sincere about this, so I turned towards the others who sat at the table and said :
" What do all of you think, I don't think that I can say anything on your behalf, but I don't believe that I'm in no position for him to ask for my forgiveness, so it's your decision .
As I said this, I shrugged my shoulders at them and rested on my seat, but Moriasaki seem to see things differently than I do, he suddenly raised his voice and said :
I'm in need for your forgiveness regarding what happened yesterday, so I hope you would accept my apology as well .
It seem that he thought that I was still holding a grudge against him for what happened yesterday or at least harbored some resentment towards him, which I had never intended to in the first place, but seeing that he still was apologizing, I said :
" If it mattered to you that much, then you are forgiven, hope to see how will you change your ways in the future ? .
With that I had made an enemy yesterday and here today, I was reconciling the enemy and accepting him as a friend again .
