Flames burst from Boro's mouth, igniting all the explosives and poison gas at once.

A thunderous explosion shook the earth itself.
A cruel smile spread across Boro's face.
With that level of destructive force, anyone should have been blown to pieces.
But the smile quickly froze.
Ahead of him, Yuzuru still stood there with his hands in his pockets, unmoving.
The explosion hadn't even touched the corner of his clothes.
Before Boro could react, a massive arm suddenly extended from the skeletal armor.

Like swatting a fly, the enormous skeletal hand slammed into Boro's face with a heavy impact.
Under the overwhelming force, Boro's head twisted grotesquely several times, and his body was sent flying like a kite with its strings cut.
"Damn it… I wasn't even modified. How can this guy have such terrifying power?!"
Struggling to his feet, his body regenerated once more under the effect of the core within him.
For the first time, the thought of retreat surfaced in his mind.
But Yuzuru naturally wouldn't give him that chance.
With a mere thought, a lightning-forged blade appeared in the skeletal arm's grasp.
"Chidori Stream: Susanoo Blade!"
The blade pierced straight through Boro's body. The paralysis from the lightning current left him completely immobilized.
Yuzuru slowly walked up to him, eyes lowered.
"You turned yourself into something neither human nor beast."
"You're the real lowly creature."
"Kamui!"
Space warped violently, and Boro was thrown into the Kamui dimension.
Although the one behind Boro was Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, Yuzuru wasn't particularly worried.
Just as he had no intention of fighting Isshiki right now, Isshiki likely had no desire to fight him either.

If he hadn't been unable to find a suitable vessel all this time, why would he need to coexist with such lowly creatures?
With that thought, he lifted his eyes toward Victor.
"Victor, why did you organize shinobi to resist Uchiha Yuzuru's assault?"
"Didn't I tell you that Kara's top priority right now is to stay hidden? Under no circumstances can our identities be exposed."
Sensing the killing intent in Jigen's voice, Victor hurriedly explained, "Leader, I only wanted to buy some time to transfer the research materials."
"It was Boro's foolish self-initiative. Otherwise, my plan would have gone perfectly."
