As Roy stabbed, slashed, dodged, and maneuvered through the rushing numbers of the antsnakes, he held on for three whole minutes before taking the battle outside the cave. If he stayed in there any longer, he might have suffocated to death because of the stench of their blood.
He let the chase him around, taking them down one by one. He took two down with this method.
But then, he soon found out why Abraham took him to a cave. The adult antsnakes, along with the weak ones, surrounded him.
When he realized it, it was too late. It all happened in under a split second.
Right after Roy killed three weak antsnakes in succession, he looked around circumspectly and found he was positioned exactly in their middle. Without a break in pace from when he killed those three, they all charged together.
